Devastator Thread
Переглядів 5304 роки тому
In this transnational thread I combine Judo, Jiu-Jitsu and Wrestling to overwhelm my opponent. This is a great tactic but requires much discipline. Exploring individuals arts is a good thing, combining them effortlessly is something else! Gi: www.ShoyoRoll.com
The Sticky Foot Thread
Переглядів 5494 роки тому
The Sticky Foot is an easy way to control an opponent’s base while standing. In this short lesson I quickly give you some of my favorite options from the Sticky Foot series. The reason this technique is so effective is it doesn’t over extend your positioning giving your opponent an option to counter. On the contrary if it fails you lose next to nothing in the session and can quickly recover to ...
Stumble Throw

Transition is the key to unlocking a new level of fighting. It is the most profound ally when considering the ability to stay ahead of the curve. Creating what we call threads are essential in increasing not only your transitional ability but also your overall speeds. This is a must for elite level grapplers and fighters!

Guerrilla Jiu-Jitsu Champs League 2013 hosted by Dave Camarillo. 7 teams competed to the semi-finals. No belt or weight level restrictions. We had some very exciting matches. I do not own any of the soundtrack nor do I take credit for it.
Ruotolo Brothers
Переглядів 8 тис.11 років тому
I had the privilege of teaching a private lesson to the Ruotolo Brothers. It was especially fun for me because my brother and I grew up with Martial Arts. I had an obvious connection to these fine young grapplers. I also really loved how they were so eager to learn. And that eagerness is only out-shined by their honor and respect on the mat. as per request we worked some Judo set-ups that reall...
Machine Gun Submissions!
Переглядів 21 тис.11 років тому
There are many facets to developing your ability to finish. Here I focus on my favorite, MACHINE GUN SUBMISSIONS! Overwhelming your opponent with attacks is a great way to get them to tap. This philosophy can also be used in life. This is a 'no nonsense', 'never take no for an answer' approach to Grappling. Take this method and run with it until you submit everyone in your academy! DC

Guerrilla Jiu-Jitsu Champs League 2012
Переглядів 2,4 тис.12 років тому
Every year we hold a tournament very much like international soccer. In Champs League we have teams of Guerrilla Jiu-Jitsu compete against each other in the Group Stage held at the individual academies. The top four in each academy then meet at the Champs League Final. 16 competitors fight to win the prestigious Guerrilla Jiu-Jitsu Champs League Title! Here are the highlights of our Second Annu...
Self Preservation

If attacked on the street you must be mentally prepared! Regardless of the variables keeping a clear mind will save your life. Your mind is your most powerful ally and you must use it to survive a dangerous encounter. Here I talk about variables involved in an attack and how to control them.
Here after ADCC 2022
Love it
I’d like to see fourth and fifth degree promotion and demo.
NICE MOVEMENT
Glad to see more videos
Dave Camarillo, since I saw blending your JUDO and BJJ I truly opened my eyes about the path to follow, I'd love to pay classes in your dojo.
Camarillo rocks . As usual even with some gray in the mix :D
those chains are a thing of beauty.
Jeremy Adkins, he runs Machine Works BJJ!
Demos like this are a bit dumb since no beginner is going to know what the hell is going on in that positional stuff at the end.
That's why did all the techniques slow in the beginning.
Someone a while back asked why the knees are not squeezed together to avoid losing the arm bar. I was wondering the same thing. Being able to transition from one thing to another is awesome, but I would think that performing the submission in a manner which mitigates the defense would be the first choice. Love to see a comment from Dave on this. Great video!
Nice!
Could you show more transitional submissions like this?
Somebody suplex that baby
Best grappling video Ive ever seen. I love watching Erik Paulson, Eddie Bravo and Stephan Kesting`s instructional virals but Im definetly going to keep up with Dave Camarillo.
Que genial.
Amazing combo
Wow, thanks for the insight Dave Camarillo! I've been chaining my subs for awhile, but the transitions you came up with are brilliant. I've been to your brother's gym in Bakersfield. He wasn't there, but it's a wonderful facility and everyone was very nice, as well as skilled.
Incredible. Such thinking put in practice and training... i'm getting afraid. Not yet ordered it, but with each Dave's video and interview i'm getting closer to get "Submit Everyone".
Never occurred to me you could stand up and toss somebody when they are trying to take your back.
I could beat that guy... ... at Street Fighter 2 :-D awesome video, this is amazing skill
the guy in black know judo
Will study this video for a few weeks.Thank you!
the other guy looked bigger
He is. About 220
awesome throws!
Love the throws!!
Great video- Thanks!
Worst corner man ever for the other guy "watch the judo throw!!!" -_-
great judo! please do a tutorial on your uchimata throw!
Those are some wicked throws. Good job!
These little guys are SICK! Surely they will be future world champions.
They're sponsored by Shoyoroll. Apparently someone has heard of them. lol
Awesome stuff.
some badass looking setups!
I'm in no way related to them and I live on another continent. They're growing more famous in the BJJ scene due to their high skill level at such a young age. They should be an inspiration to other kids and grown ups who give up on the idea that BJJ is too hard for them. Look up other videos on youtube and don't even pretend not to be impressed.
Look up the ruotolo twins on UA-cam,
Slick!
Do you live on the moon? They're the Ruotolo Bros.!
DAMNN!! No joke .. He's legit
Amazing Coach Dave
haha i agree. i'll never be fond of getting thrown either.
That day was the last time I was in the gym
13 if you wanna pop the hip or spine! but its illegal in tourneys! haha
His demos have always been some of my favorites. Definitely a master.
Demos always seem to make babies cry.
excellent technique
No doubt, Dave is one of the best bjj coaches out there and I'm a huge fan of his, but I always notice that Dave doesn't always squeeze his knees together when he does armbars but in class we were taught that it's a bad habit. Yet it's Dave Camarillo, and he's the armbar king!!! Is there a reason why he does armbars this way?
Great demo
Thank goodness that other guy knows Ukemi!!!
Glad it only took 5 minutes to take the baby that was going crazy out of the room...GEEZ!
