It's been an exciting first half of the groupstage for sure bro!! I love how in FIFA 16, defenses are harder to break, which makes each chance worth so much more! I've been playing around with sliders, and made some small tweaks but overall, the game plays beautifully!!

Very true mate! Although I have noticed, interestingly, than in PES 2017, the "Konami Derby effect" is perhaps a bit less pronounced than in later editions! Still, it was a great win, and did great things for our confidence!

The Championship is crazy man!! Just in the first two weeks, I have already had 4 matches, with QPR coming up (and not even FA Cup has started)! It is definitely the toughest and best second division, but I am confident that Ionescu will be able to give the team an identity and a passion, even if he is a relative unknown right now!! :)

These matches against the Blades are always exciting. A mood lifter for the early part of the season for sure! :)

Bro, I changed my mind. :) I was going to play it in PES 2016, but goalkeepers are too unsatisfying in this edition.. So I think I might move it to PES 2017! :)

You know bro, it's interesting.. I've had very early derbies in my recent campaigns! The first match for Toro was Juventus, and now in only my third match of the season, I draw United! In anycase, it was a great way for Hide to show his spirit, that inside the youngster there is a very gritty, fighting heart!!

For sure bro! I wanted to make a change for this one, and instead of doing my more usual "musketeers" or "double-star" story, I wanted to bring in a single young star, and I think a young Hide would be perfect for the role! I think the fashionable Japanese star makes a nice contrast with the more gritty, working-class mentality of Sheffield Wednesday! 😃😀 Oh, and about a Serie B patch, I have a couple of suggestions bro.. which I can share in EW! Thanks mate!! After much meditating and stepping aside from football games for a week or so, I decided that this campaign for my chillout story was closer to my heart! Mou's Sporting started off immediately in Champions League or Europa, and it felt a bit too immediate.. I wanted to start something afresh, and from the bottom, with a humble and down to earth type of personality manager, and Gaspar seems to fit the bill perfectly! This is the invented story for immersion purposes: He is a recently retired midfielder, a young manager about 40 or so.. With limited talent, but an intelligent and hardworking player, Gaspar played his entire footballing career in the Portuguese second division (and a short spell in the Spanish La Liga 2), and he believes in team harmony and hard work, with very little ego, but that a good relationship in the locker room is essential for success! Let's see where this goes! :) Yeah bro!! PES 2013 has a brutal market (with all those 1% chance of signing hahahaha), and also, have you noticed, the games themselves are quite difficult! I am looking forward to the challenge!

This was indeed a great season, man!! You know, even though I fought till the very end for the Champions League Spot, and it all came down to that final draw game against Atalanta (who finished fourth!) and that could've changed everything, and it would've been awesome to qualify,, I think I find it more poetic this way.. And more ambitious, for one simple reason: Comizzo is hugely ambitious, but he is also realistic.. CL would be probably too difficult in his third season, but moving up in Serie A and FIGHTING FOR EUROPA LEAGUE is his biggest, most focused motivation for Toro's third season!! I know I can do it bro, I know I can fight for EL!!!!

Haha thanks man! It was indeed a really cool season, with more ups than downs, and an unexpected finish both in Serie A and also in the Europa Legue! It would've been nice to qualify for CL this season, but in a way, I find this finish to go really well with the story as well.. Because it sets up my main ambition for next year.. To improve on my EL semifinal performance, and even win it!! Haha, and about Zapata/Lasagna, I was trying to score with both! The thing is,, I think Lasagna ended up with more goals than Zapata in the League, because of the really tight schedule and so I decided to rotate my squad A LOT. Zapata actually finished as the Top Scorer in the Europa League! But Lasagna was undoubtedly, the unsung hero of this season. He really helped keep the League afloat for sure! :)

Oh yeah, absolutely. Plus, I think that in every single PES edition, headers have a completely different feeling.. For example in PES 2017 Vanilla, it was quite easy to score with them (gameplay mods fix this), but in PES 2018, I think the difficulty was adjusted more realistically! :)

Inter had me on the ropes mate!! I was quite concerned after Alexis' PK (man, what a lethal combo he makes with Lautaro up front), but you can NEVER count out Comizzo and his fighting spirit!! He was like "I am going to OUT-THINK and OUT-FIGHT inter!!" 😄 The way we displayed so much desire and heart were trademark attributes of his Dear Toro!! I could have never imagined to get this far, now from one giant to the next, Inter and then Atletico Madrid! An interesting side-note bro.. I faced Inter SIX times during this second season!!
