Solid stuff...the nick faldo backswing drill is a personal favorite
I feel like I release way behind the ball. Any tips on that ?
@@gregoryedwards8781 hit by your left toe in your practice swing and look 2-4 inches in front of the ball during your real swing
Clear, consise and to the point. Now, practice, practice, practice. Thanks Zack.
@@LeeMan-q4b you are welcome. Glad my communication resonates with you.
A lot of really good instructors would disagree with most of this. To stay centered you must side bend to the left in your backswing.
@@jmarsh4653 and I disagree with a lot of big name instructors. I’m on pace for over 2,000 lessons in 2024. My methods and beliefs create results and solutions for real people.
Yes but then your lead wrist is cupped at the top instead of bowed
It has become popular to turn in place with a twisting motion. The method you advocate has always worked better for me.
Genuinely dreadful positions, more stuck than a step sister! 🤣
Wow that move is a bit confusing, we need more explanation. It appears to be the exact opposite of Pete Cowan’s spin down move.
No side bend? Huh
@@LarrySandals too much is a bad thing. Keep shoulders on the original shoulder plane
🤯Thank you sir
Zack, how about if one uses a "One piecce takeaway" method ?
Creates an inconsistent low point and struggle to get ball first contact
good stuff.
Glad you enjoyed it
Great video Zack !
More plzzz! I miss the lessons with erndog 😢
Zack, keep them coming, dude!
This is great! More videos on the channel demonstrating these types of things please!
Do you think he hit enough pratice balls
Zac....when I do feel like I " drop " the iron or driver from behind and I do make solid contact , the ball just effortlessly flys off my club face .....problem is sometimes I also chunk my irons badly , not so much my driver......so I am struggling to sync up my irons and my rotation...are there any other tips / drill I can try that might help ...thanks much
If you are chunking it’s usually because there is too much weight on your back foot at impact. I like to feel a closed lateral shift as I drop or lower. Make sure the weight is shifting from back foot to front foot along with your pelvis as you drop.
Just started watching Zach in the Erndog videos….if you are struggling like I am sub and watch his videos, its not a gimmick, went to the range yesterday after a week of swinging in the garage using Zachs basics. My irons were instantly better especially the height, driver was improved but needs more work. I’m 67 and I hit a couple of seven irons out of a small bucket that were perfection. Gonna keep working on this Thanks Zach
Thanks for sharing. Glad this has helped get you results! Keep up the good work.
@@zachberhow.instruction hey Zach, thanks…my wife just pointed out that Bridlewood is where our son got married two years ago. We lived in Euless at the time, small world. We are in San Diego now. When we come out I will try and book a lesson.
