I’m so glad it’s helpful! 💗 I chose not to do cursive font for our home, but some do. I have a link in the video description box for the letter template I used! The person who made them may also have a cursive font, I’m not sure.

Outside montessori I've really enjoyed reading books by Jesper Juul. I know at least one of his books is translated into English, you might enjoy them too. Anyway, I look forward to your next video 😁

Can I know where to get the giant number puzzles? The board looks pretty. :) Also would love some work mat suggestions.
The puzzle is Melissa and Doug, but unfortunate it’s discontinued ☹️ I got ours from the thrift store. But the do have some newer versions you might like too! For work mats, I absolutely love the cream colored mat we got from IKEA! 🤩 It’s the perfect size, inexpensive, and a nice neutral color so it’s not distracting! Even machine washable 😂 🙌

This video is full of great ideas! I love your tip about moving the materials to a new location. I did that today and Lincoln was so excited! I noticed Lincoln has been saying he wants to be in the living room recently and was bringing toys into our living room (vs staying and playing in the playroom). I made a spot on our living room bookshelf for some of his work and he has been really engaged with it today!I’m curious to see if this continues to be something he likes!
That’s wonderful! 😃 It took my son a week or so to get into the work after I moved it (I think because it was so different) but it has been SO much better and he loves it now! ❤️ You’ll have to keep me updated on how it works for you! 😊
I am enjoying your videos and insight on Montessori home schooling. I have 1 year old that we are doing this with and plan to continue with home schooling him as you are. Learning to trust and follow the child can be tough at first but very rewarding. I look forward to future videos that you post. One question about the books (a previous video you posted)- is there a lot of overlap in the following 2 books: Teaching Montessori in the Home: Pre-School Years & Basic Montessori. If so, is there one you recommend over the other? I have (and love! ) The Montessori Toddler. Thanks!

Love this!!! Thank you so much. I’ve been exposed to Montessori years ago while I was a preschool teacher and tried learning all the things. Now that I am homeschooling I have become really interested in the Montessori method and I see all these amazing Mama’s on Instagram and definitely am intrigued. Thank you for suggestions going to look into a few. I have a 3yr old and 8yr old currently homeschooling.

How much sand paper would be needed to complete 1 set of cursive writing ? Would normal scissors work for sand paper cutting ? Thanks a lot !
I used 5 sheets of sandpaper for mine. I should think that would be enough for cursive too, but maybe get an extra sheet just in case? And yes, normal scissors worked just fine! 😃 I’d love to know how the cursive ones come out!
Hello again! 😊 would you be so kind as to tell me where did you get your wood board? I haven’t physically gone to Home Depot or Lowe’s but I just looked online and couldn’t find it. That could mean nothing too but I thought I would ask if there is a sure thing before I head down to those 😊
I bought these and had my husband cut them down, BUT I just discovered precut boards on Amazon that would be perfect 😃 Just search “Ruisita 60 Pieces 6 x 4 Inch Rectangle Unfinished Wood” on Amazon and they should come up! I haven’t used them, but they look perfect and I plan on buying some for sandpaper numbers. Hope that helps!

Sorry, no link! I picked them up as paint chip samples at the hardware store. You could easily buy and cut various shades of card stock though and use those! 😃
what grit of sandpaper do you use?
The sandpaper I used was just labeled very fine. Any sandpaper that is course enough to feel, but not too rough on their fingers should be fine! 😊

do u have template for uppercase?
If you check out the link for the lowercase you can actually get uppercase and numerals too! (Her shop actually has a lot of cool resources so worth checking out!) Alternatively, you could do your own on a word processor if you want a different size or font. Hope that helps! Thanks for watching! 😃
