WARNING...WARNING....WARNING...DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT ! IT DOES NOT FIT AS THIS EMPLOYEE IS SHOWING HERE. I RETURNED MINE TO COSTCO...
Would be nice to see a complete video with how to disassemble becuase it's not easy trying to remove qithout using a rubber mallet to separate.
I’ve been struggling with these shelves for probably 30 years so I thought I knew all the tricks. I finally added a zip tie around AND a few twirls of black electrical tape under every black clip pair to prevent shelf slippage. So far I think it’s working.
Assembly is a snap! But keeping them assembled without future Wobblies is a whole other story.
My issue is that i have one of these in an apt that i desperately want to get rid of, but since the shelf was definitely assembled in this tiny room, it takes up the entire space so is impossible to remove unless i dissemble it 😢 ill give it credit for being very very sturfy
Lucky you.
Yeah but where on the poles did you put the clips before you slid them down.
Hey what about using a vice grip after you get the clip where you want it. But youd need 4 vice grips. Oh well.
What do you mean above the insert on the pole??
Because they didnt bother to put the actual shelf together. Why bother.
Thats not going to make a bit of difference.
Tell us something we dont know.
They left out all the parts yhey had to c I t when he was pulling out his hair by the fistful and screaming obscenities!!!
But the clips dont fit ariund snug. Theres a huge gap on both sides and when you slide the shelf down half of them pop off!!!!
Its SHELVING. Not shelfing!! Go back to school before you put a you tube video on.
You guys didn’t mention one time how to put the damn wheels on

...I put my shelf upside down..and had to rewatch this like five times till I figure it our😢
I tried to install the Finnhomy Heavy Duty 7 Tier Wire Shelving, the shelf rack just won't fit into every single clips, I tried to use my body weight, mallet hammering and the rack was just not able to insert into those clips, after 2 racks are bent with sheer force, I thought enought was enough and returned it.
What I did to make my life not entirely full of frustration was take a stack of milk crates and put the wire shelf upside down on top of them. You can use a high desk or a table saw or whatever. Just so the shelf is like 4 feet off the ground. Then take a the uprights apart so they're two lengths of pipe. Then attach the plastic clips on the four pieces of upright pipe. Then simply slide them into the shelf holes. And of course, they'll sit in the holes and you give them a bit of a yank to secure them. Then take the section of shelf and flip it over and start building. Easy peasy, quick and easy. Trying to slide a full length of pipe into the holes with a single shelf turned sideways looks like mi-ser-eeeee.
Duh. The poles need to be up and secured in the first shelf before you start putting the other clips and shelves on.
@@jlouis5217 Yes...but getting those first four poles installed is frustrating. It's hard to shove the shelf down on the clips when the first shelf is sideways.
It does not work as good as you think it does. It is hard as heck to put it together.
CLIPS TIP : The clips will snap together SNUGLY as long at the smaller ends are lined up with the indent line on the pole. I am putting mine together now and that was not mentioned on the video here, but I am still glad I found this video, very helpful!
You must be from Mars. Tried that. Doesn't matter where you put the stupid clip!!! They do not snap period.
@@jlouis5217 No I am not from Mars. Sorry you were frustrated. I just reported what worked for me.
Thank u 😊

The plastic anchors do not stay in place!!! Does anyone have any tips for this?
If only they really were that easy. Those plastic clips never want to stay put. I swear I'm fixi to just run some self tapping screws into them.
Thank You! 🤓
So one can make 2 shelves out of a 4-5 shelf unit, right? Just asking for a friend…🤓
Where do I get the s hooks?
my wife and i almost went through a divorce trying to put those clips on
Sigh. How I wish it was this easy. Like many who have already commented the black clips just slide down as I attempt to slide the shelf over it. A few people had some creative solutions I will try. I have another one of these purchased way back in 2008 and it's been great. Strange to have trouble with this one.
wonder if you can buy the plastic anchors separately
IMPORTANT: the clips have an arrow on them and MUST be ponting UP on the leg. If not, the clip may not snap on the leg, and definitely won't allow the upper shelf to slide on. If you can't see the arrow, just flip the plastic snap amd check again. There is a small groove that the plastic clip must fit into on the leg or it won't fit. Take your time, it will go back together. Forcing it will snap the clip and you'll be hooped.
how you take it apart?
helpful thanks
my clips don't close around the posts
Yeah I wasn’t that happy
Those black two piece anchors DO NOT slide through that easily on mine. 😢
Okay! Two things. First. Take a close look at those black half moon clips that we are bitching about. One side says “UP” or “TOP”….guess where that goes! Another is slide it up the pole until you feel it “click” into place. Count the rings or use a tape measure. You want them even. Guess what…it works now. My instructions, in three languages, never mentioned any of that. Good luck!
I've struggled with this for close to 2 hours. I've finally got the bottom shelf on. Trick was you had to stick the bars with the clips inside the shelf first, otherwise they fall off. At least for me they do. Still not sure I've got it, but I'm going to keep going.
Now that's worth trying. Thanks.
Side by side is NOT stacking. Nice try.
hes smiling too much
Weight it can handle?
IF YOURE HAVING TROUBLE WITH THE CLIPS AND SHELF SLIDING DOWN, TURN THE SHELF UPSIDE DOWN. ITS NOT MEANT TO BE LIKE A BASKET. THE SHELF SHOULD BE COMPLETELY FLAT. THAT SHOULD HELP!!!
Merci beaucoup. Cette vidéo m'a beaucoup aidé
how can it handle weight if the top or middle is heaviest..., what make it not slip down?
That's cool. Is there also a way to divide one shelf to have an open area and a row of baskets on one side? That would be handy.
Now, how do you disassemble the shelf?
This build tested my mental stability. God help the creator.
The creator was an idiot who didn't test the product after they manufactured the stupid thing!!! This idiotic piece of junk is brought to you by Amazon Basics!!! Yeah..boneheads.
NOBODY IS SMILING THAT MUCH BUILDING THIS! I LOOKED LIKE I WAS CONSTIPATED AND FROWNED THE WHOLE TIME!!!!
