Of course not! But cracked pads like this are making squealing noise . On this particular case I took brakes apart to check for the bad shim, turned out to be a cracked pad

Please get some safety glasses with side protectors.😘 I was changing out a plug under my van wearing glasses like yours and a piece of rust got in my eye, I went to emergency room to have it taken out with a magnet. Doctor said,"its amazing how something soo little can hurt so bad!", I couldnt have agreed more.😢😢😢 go
I use side shields when machining brittle materials or doing sandblasting

I used superglue to secure the magnets; engine heat cycles and vibration can destroy the glue and cause them to drift.Also the commutator has a deep scoring which are not quite well visible on camera. Such starter should be serviced with new brush set as soon as it shows first signs of starting hesitation.

Hello! This reminds me of a competition at school in 4th grade about how electricity and machines work. I took apart my stone polisher device that a rotating rod turning a cylinder. I had it set up and displayed exactly like you have here. Explaining all components and it's specific function. Great memory all the kids were very fascinated.😎👍❤️ I won 1st place
