Is she an inspector ?
Unless you have a lot of liquid capital, it makes absolutely no sense to buy a franchise. All the costs after the initial investment are insane. After paying your employees and other expenses and fees, your monthly take home pay could be equal to working full-time as a fry worker at McDonalds. Correct me if I’m wrong here. This likely applies to retail franchises or grocery stores, which is what I would franchise if I was going that route. I would much rather put the investment cost of 100 to 200k towards buying a condo. That way, I have stability and security for survival and living. Then the monthly bills could easily be taken care of as a full time fry worker at McDonalds. To sum it up, why would you put 200k into a franchise, which has a lot of risk associated with it, when you can make the same amount of money each month as a full time McDonalds worker and put your money towards an investment that carries much lower risk and can give you stability?
It’s also linked to cancer that’s why I stopped eating
That's a full time scammer
Most ppl who want a franchise want to lay down the investment cost and then get it running and then be involved part time/passively. McDonalds/Chic Fila is a full time job lol more than full time more like overtime no life job.
They give u 5 hours a week bro should be illegal to do that
Worst company to work for
Ruth Chris do $6 million per year in revenue. Chic fila make almost as much as Ruth Chris
Great video! I'm considering venturing into the franchise world, and this video has been very informative. Txs
Awesome video! It answered a lot of questions!!
The operator has to float the upfront yr 1 inventory and payroll which is not provided by corporate. That's $200k-$2M. You're not investing in a business. You're buying an income stream like a bond at an equity premium.
But working like 60 hours a week for it lol unlike a bond.
Not being a true franchise model can be a good thing!
You can start a doughnut truck on your own, I did, Big Mike's Little Doughnuts. I use a machine made here in America.
Do you want to own a chick 🐣 fil a franchise?
Des is a RockStar! So great to hear her mindset and thoughts! Awesome video.
I do not agree all chick fill a workers are friendly. I sometimes do DoorDash and some chick fill A don’t even respond when I say” Hi”, they how they pick those operators between80-90K applicants.
You don’t. Hindsight is 20/20 lol.
Do you currently own any franchises or did you sell them?
Too much not saying nothing!!!!!!!!
Used to work in a store owned by an operator with three stores, and currently work in one with two. Three stores is far too much for an operator, your attention is just far too divided. It’s extremely wise for them to discourage this.
One thing you got way wrong...the franchisee owns nothing. They are operators. The company owns the equipment and property. Please stop using the term owner.
2 Chick-fil-A restaurants offering by the same owner in our town
Interesting! We have two in pretty close proximity and one is great, food is never different and service is great and fast, friendly. Then the one not too far in the burbs is the exact opposite. The suburban one really sucks
They are not owners. Operators
These guys did phenomenal. Free spill
Watching this because we had a great experience at there store
Your information is incorrect you said you get 5% of the profits but then you say you get 5% of the sales
It's 15% of sales off the top AND 50% of ALL PROFITS. explain the Christian vales aspects again. This is greed hidden behind religion.
This is a great video, thank you!
What are your thoughts on childcare franchise like Kiddie Academy etc.
Great to hear you were 25 when starting your first franchise. Currently 25, and going through discovery process with my wife! Love the content!
My return beats anything else I’ve invested in…. Except Teslas stock so….
5 reason no stop doing UA-cam
Great information
Great your content idea.
Sorry, but it is a terrible idea to raid your 401K for a franchise down payment. Franchises are notoriously risky investments (if you don't believe this statement you should do some research on the topic). As a successful former owner of a multi-unit franchise business and board member of the owners' association, I can attest to the fact that many investors in franchise businesses lose their life savings. A 401K will grow tax-free for many years rewarding you with the power of compound interest until you need to access the funds when you are retired.
I went through the process 2 1/2 years ago and made it to the final step. Took 9 months and was grueling. In retrospect, glad it didn't happen, but would have been successful if I made it. Was a great experience and proud to say made it to the final 375 of over 85k applicants
That’s is sad, did they tell you the reason?
@@alevozturk3457 No reason given, but as I said, was happy to have made it as far as I did.
You skipped on having to work 6 days a week all day lol for a couple hundred grand a yr(not worth it).
So many people in business say "I learned more on the job than in college". So it makes a lot of sense to ditch school if you want to dive into entrepreneurship early. But I agree, the main benefits of college are experiences and relationships. That helps develop EQ which is a vital skill in business ownership and leadership. Like Tyler, I did the community college thing for a few years. Shout out to Oakton Community College! And also like Ryan I did the public university thing. Shout out to Indiana University! Go Hoosiers! Had a little too much fun there lol
You might think of good food when you think of Chick-fil-A, but for me I think of anti-gay sentimentality since the founder of the company was known to donate to anti-gay organizations. There is evidence of this online. A couple years ago, I was completing an application for employment at a local Chick-fil-A and when I read the Equal Opportunity disclaimer statement, it said how they don't discriminate against the usual things like race, religion, etc., but sexual orientation was not included. Needless to say, I did not finish the application. I refuse to support that company.
They are woke now
@@richardbenn5479 I don't really understand that term, but I stand by my opinion.
Tim Hiortons just gives out franchise fiefdoms. In the greater Victoria area, one man owns all 76 outlets. No one else can buy in-they are shut out!
I worked for A&W and Tim Hortons' fro 6 mos. at each. I just got sacked after a day and half from Tim's, Now hating fast food and lost all desire to ever go back. They should give you the material to study for a week, memorize it and then put you on the line.
I would prefer it if they left religion out of it and let owners open on Sunday if they want! I'm atheist/commie, Sunday just another day for me. I've never seen one in Canada.
💩💩💩
A lot to learn from this model
Ryan Zink is 100% dead on. Knowing two high-end Chick-fil-A owners very well, Ryan's words are perfect.
They are not owners. They are operators. They own nothing in the store.
Ryan and Tyler are one the many reasons that Franchise Side Kick is a successful business. The other reason the two are so successful is due to the people around them. When you surround yourself with great people you become great.
Mike is a great leader and genuinely focused to help guide you to the right fit franchise that is correct for you and your family.
Mike Flowers is the "Real Deal". Our first conversation about owning a DonutNV was with Mike. Our first call was amazing. Mike asked questions about our dreams and what we were looking for in a franchise. Mike is a true leader, and someone Kim and I trust to be a great advisor after our first call. We recommend Franchise Side Kick if you are looking into owning a franchise. They truly take the guesswork out of the picture.
My wife Kim and I worked with Mike Flowers to purchase our DonutNV for hometown Gainesville FL. Mike and everyone we worked with at Franchise Sidekick was Amazing.
I visited your youtube channel your channel content is very good. Very full quality but I have noticed some issues with your channel due to which your video views are lower than comparable content. Perfect SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is not done and another big problem is that videos are not shared on top social media. If you want I can explain it to you
Smart strategy. I like it!
