Soo, here's what I did- I blended 2 avocados in my Vitamix with some water and 1 lime without the rind(you don't want that texture in there) a tablespoon of maple syrup, and pinch of kosher salt. Blend till smooth but don't over blend. Then pass the mixture to a fine mesh strainer. You're going to want to add more water with a whisk until the consistency is like a ranch dressing. Next, I use a 32 oz shaker cup, smash 1 fresh lime , add sugar to taste, 1/2 cup avocado mixture, ice to top, add water, shake for 45 seconds to melt sugar, then enjoy. It's really refreshing ❤

Oh, that’s a good question- I think their was some kind of vent in there, but from my experience you can’t manually adjust the temperature at capsule hotels in general…. I think that is managed centrally. Have a great trip🤩

Sorry for the late reply, I only just saw your comment 😅…. I totally get where you’re coming from with best value for money, but I think that could be something different for everyone… I know that a lot of my followers are actually on a budget and appreciate when I test a hostel or so, because they get to see it before they go. They also might be travelling alone and won’t have the option to share a room and split the costs. I also often try out hotels that are somewhat unusual, purely for the experience. For me, best value can be a number of things. I think a hotel at Heathrow wouldn’t be an option for me, because I like to make the most out of my travel time and wouldn’t want to spend the time going there and back. And usually when I travel, I don’t spend much time in the room, so a place to sleep is sufficient (unless I am staying for the experience 😅). So I guess, „best value“ can mean a number of things and can be a personal preference. In this video, I was just shooting for „cheapest“ which it was at the time I booked….😅 Thanks again for stopping by my channel and have a great day 😁

Thanks for the comment. That’s a good question 😅. If you compare the size of the room with hotel prices, then of course not. But I don’t think it works that way😅. First of all, train fares can in general be quite expensive and I feel what you’re paying for here is the experience and adventure. So yes, I would say it’s worth it 😅🥰👍🏻. Hope that helps😅….?

Thank you for watching and for taking the time to comment 😁. I understand- hm… Well, when I checked in I was given a bed (it was a bottom one), but I am sure you can ask. Or especially when you book in advance you could write them a message. Years ago I was in Spain for a few weeks (I walked the Camino) and as I fell out of a top bunk as a kid and ended up in hospital with concussion, I also prefer the bottom ones. I was in Spain for five weeks and apart from a few nights where I stayed at hotels, I was always in hostels with bunk beds. Not once did I have to sleep on the top 😅….

@@carolynsyoutubechannel you were very lucky, I did inter-rail in the early 80s and 8/10 I got stuck with the top bunk. I guess things are different now with internet.

I just think it’s common decency and good service- if someone asks for something and it’s available, why shouldn’t it be possible….? Haha- algogehtso🤣🤣…. I was expecting more😅. The pistachio part was delicious, but I tried a few croissants from the same place and they were all “okay”🙈😅…. They look special from the outside and sell themselves as “instagrammable and viral”, but they were slightly dry, sticky and only had a tiny blob of creme in the middle. That’s why I didn’t share the place😅…. Still looks beautiful, though 😅. I recently went to “Et Claire” in Amsterdam and tried their croissants- they were absolutely amazing 🤩!

Und ich bin echt nicht verwöhnt beim Essen😅. Aber sie verkaufen sich als extrem schick und großartig und sind es eben nicht. I honestly didn’t worry about that for a minute- there was lightning everywhere and the emergency exit was always signposted. There are stairs, so the lift does not need to be used. Other than that, Germany has pretty strict regulations, I doubt they could open a new hotel without making sure everything is in order. Hope that helped :-).

@@carolynsyoutubechannel i am just curious. pod hotels in japan could learn a thing or two from them cuz u can see that even the most high end ones in japan dont have proper doors due to fire regulations.

@pecopeco5907 Sure, it’s a valid question 👍🏻. I have never been to Japan, so I haven’t had that experience, but of all the capsule hotels I have been to, especially the CAB 20 is honestly the one where I felt the safest. I didn’t feel unsafe in the others, though. Hope it helps 😄
