2025 Ford Explorer Platinum 4x4 review by Mark Savage & Paul Daniel
Ford has improved its Explorer with a sophisticated new interior and an awesome, hands-free driving system, BlueCruise. The Platinum delivers a luxury feel and look inside, plus this one added a 400-horsepower twin-turbo V6 for NASCAR-style oomph.

2025 Volvo V60 T8 AWD Polestar Engineered review by Mark Savage & Paul Daniel
Переглядів 36814 днів тому
Wagons make up just over 1% of the car market these days, but Volvo, a long-time wagon devotee continues to push the long-roof envelope. That's why its new V60 plug-in hybrid both looks and drives like a winner. Super power, stellar handling, comfy interior, and a sporty look that could make a Porsche blush. 24 Lexus LC 500 Convertible review by Mark Savage and Paul Daniel

Lexus turn up the volume on its color wheel to 11 with Copper Crest, a bright as a new penny paint scheme, slathered all over the already curvaceous LC 500 convertible. It nearly stopped traffic. And the LC (luxury coupe/convertible) 500 already garners attention with its needle-nose looks and 471-horsepower V8. Wow!
24 BMW XM Review by Mark Savage & Paul Daniel

Everything about BMW's top-end plug-in hybrid SUV, the XM, is lavish, extreme, and over-the-top. But while the Ruby Black Metallic exterior was sleek it’s the interior that stirred friends and neighbors. This thing is like a party bus, with a cost to match! Hop in and come along for a ride. 2024 Genesis G70 AWD 3 3T Sport Prestige review by Mark Savage & Paul Daniel
Переглядів 1984 місяці тому
The Genesis G70 remains a topflight entry-level luxury sport sedan with a peppy 365-horse twin-turbo 3.3-liter V6 in this tested Sport Prestige model. Add to that precise handling and dashing good looks, among the best of luxury sedans to date. What it lacks, mainly, is legroom in the rear seats, especially if the driver or front-seat passenger is average height or beyond. G70 is roughly the si...
2024 Volvo S90 Recharge AWD Ultimate review by Mark Savage & Paul Daniel

Hard to imagine but I got 169.4 mpg with the fabulous Volvo S90 Recharge plug-in hybrid (PHEV), yet the darned sleek luxury sedan had 455 horsepower. It also had about 50 miles of electric range with an overnight plug-in. Amazing. But it IS a luxury sedan, so starting price for the PHEV is $66,745.

I love the off-roading portion of the Midwest Automotive Media Association's Spring Rally at Road America. This year besides the selection of Jeeps and Fords, was a newcomer, the INEOS Grenadier Trialmaster and no, I didn't spell that wrong. Never heard of the Dodge Hornet? You're likely not alone as this sporty compact plug-in hybrid crossover seems a well-kept secret. 24 Subaru Crosstrek Sport review by Mark Savage & Paul Daniel

The Crosstrek Sport may just be the best sporty crossover with standard AWD as it packs just enough power to make it a funster around town and a price tag to grant it wide appeal for young outdoorsy-minded families. 2023 Mercedes Benz G550 review by Mark Savage and Paul Daniel

What makes the Mercedes-Benz G550, otherwise known as the G Wagon, so special? Well, price is certainly one distinguishing factor, with a list of $139,900. Ouch! But it also packs a twin-turbo V8 with 416 horsepower that makes this giant military-style brick feel much sportier than one might think.

MSRP for a 2023 without the optional Handling Pack ($3500) is only $63k, that’s with the premium interior options and other options. So fully loaded it’ll be mid to high $60’s. (Before taxes and dealer fees.). Not cheap but the best Mustang now!

@@SavageOnWheels Don't know where to begin. It's not a $7500 tax rebate, It's a tax credit and not everyone can take advantage of the whole amount. There is no 3 row version. Pro S does not mean AWD and you can get an AWD starting in the mid 40s in Pro trim and high 40's in Pro S trim. The radio controls are much easier and customizable and do not require you to turn off the unit to get to it. 3 years free Electrify America CCS charging. The TN plant reportedly opens here this summer and will be initially producing a version with a smaller battery (and range) for $35k. There were many other mistakes and omissions and just statements that were really unclear. The lower grill does not "Cool the battery" The battery has it's own temp control system and its best operating temp is't a cool Wisconsin afternoon it's much warmer so my guess is the battery needs to be brought up to temp which it regulates very well. The side vents you pointed to aid in a very low drag coefficient of .28 for the vehicle and may aid in keeping the brakes cool as well. I could go on and I'm sure you will get better, but these things matter. Your presentation style is very relaxed and easy to watch and that's good. But your attention to detail can't be relaxed. I hope you keep it up and get better and I hope you can grow your channel. I can see that you can do better.

The sitting position with out additional lumbar support is almost like a clam shell hunched over. But I can live with that easy remedy the rest of the truck is fantastic great gas mileage, powerful engine, great steering and suspension. Feels well-built inside and out.
