So, why is it 2.0? The original KILR Radio was an internet, music variety station that was once on Live365 but sadly closed down in January 2016 along with Live365. Even though Live365 returned in December of the same year, the pricing structure was no longer affordable for music licenses. KILR Radio 2.0 is the spiritual successor to the channel and still retains the wide variety of genres and decades that it was known for with the exception that it is all original music.
