Writing a different story - Ashley Castellanos
Ashley, host of Venture-Ette Podcast had the degree and job she wanted working as an Assistant Buyer. At 23 years old, one day at work she saw her life flash before her eyes. Where she saw how the rest of life would be working a corporate job. She then realized that if she continued down this path, it wouldn't be the life she really wanted. Which was to live, see the world and have a real story to tell about her life.
So she quit her job to teach English and attempt other business ventures abroad. She moved to 6 countries on 3 continents in 5 years in order to see the world and live life on her own terms. Creating memories and stories like she wanted. But it all wasn’t easy as there were setbacks, doubts and struggles she faced in order to live this life of travel. Hear how she moved from country to country and how life really was in each place. It’s not what you expect.

    Belgrano, Palermo, Recoleta, San Isidro, are all OVERRATED and OVERPRICED neighborhoods. Cheaper and also very good are Microcentro, Balvanera (Congreso), San Telmo, Caballito. Balvanera has many Jews, but otherwise is very good.

    Been to Argentina 3 times from the UK. Usually BA is just for arrival and departure. The food is a major let down. I actually love Italian food so in theory I should be happy. The exception is the wine and the media lunas for breakfast.

    • @lucasoscar

      maybe i ask what expectations you had on food? i watched dozens of videos of Buenos Aires and maybe the only complains about food were the lack of vegetarian options or that they dont have a "spicy food" culture, which both things are to expect since they are famous meat eaters and the food culture is from italy/spain

      @@liliangarcia7364 I pride myself on making a decent pizza. You are wrong. My educated guess is that both the wheat flour and the cheese are produced in Argentina and are not particularly good for a pizza. The Italians are really particular about both of these ingredients. As for bread in general, why is it so hard to get wholemeal and mixed grain. Much tastier and probably healthier. I too travel a lot and have been to Argentina 3 times. Don't think I was wrong 3 times.

    • @martinx1525

      @@narendra62 The problem is that English food is the worst food in the world, so probably you are accustomed to shitty food and you are not able to appreciate the excellent food of Argentina. I lived a couple of years in the UK, english people don't know how to combine flavours.

    • @narendra62
      @narendra62 3 роки тому

      @@martinx1525 The problem is you are probably not well educated when it comes to food. Just the other day I made roast chicken, red wine gravy, roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, roast courgettes and carrots. Better than anything I have ever had in Argentina. I literally surf the world's cuisines. And would be surprised if you have my cupboard of ingredients that I have. Being able to cook meat on fire is very basic cooking. And English pudding is the best. The Argies have even borrowed the word.

    App in the air provides no helpful tools when booking a flight no more than any of the other traditional apps that do. There is nothing special about this platform other then the fact that you have to pay it. There are a lot of free services that are easier to use and most importantly free. Failed to mention any of this in your review of app in the air. Very dissatisfied in both this app & review.

    Your kid is your brother or sister. "How's your kid doing these days?" = How's your brother/sister doing? Our kid = my sibling. Is how it literally translates. But yes, it's been widened since Noel and Liam from oasis made it famous, to friends and other family members. It's like bollocks literally means testicles. But they're are other contexts you can use it for. Nonsense, for example. You're talking bollocks = you're talking nonsense.
