Earthborn rangers has potential to be an incredible game. I get push back that it's not that kind of game, but it is compared to AHLCG and LotRLCH. I am waiting for the next expansion hoping that it makes it fun and interesting.

If you get the chance play the video game. The show has some very good acting and cinematography, but it doesn't impact me they way the game did. The emotional response and connection that I made as Jole taking care of Ellie is something that has never happened in a video game. I am trying to do a full review and if find dark sector I will add that as a comparison.

It's is better than expected, honestly I set the bar low on IP games, but dead cells and the last of us have gone above expectations. Dead cells is the best IP adaptation so far, I know metal gear is on the way, it is supposed to arrive this month.

I have a good portion of Escape the Dark Sector and it’s fun but super random and punishing. This looks like a cool iteration on the system

It's a weird mix of stretch goals. Wave 1 has a few of them mixed into the core box. Wave 2 have what they call non game play stretch goals. Everything is listed in one of the updates on game found.

@@GenjiGamer I think they will deliver the missing components in the stretch goal box. Most of it is gameplay relevant. (An onimous signal campaign, 4 Stalker characters, variety items, weapons, and enemies, the duty and freedom faction pack, the animal allies, personal stories part 2...)

That figure is the monster hunter and it is the same in the box. I usually buy something that's a KSE for my give aways. He is for people who buy the retail copy and missed out.

Asmode really ruined all the OP kits for all of FFG prize support. I am hopeful that FFG will be allowed to continue to make AH without Asmode ruining it.

I understand completely with all the stuff coming out and how expensive the KS and GF games are. It sucks to miss out on good exclusives. From what I can tell the retail version of Dead cells is mainly QoL improvements and 3 exclusive cards for equipment. We have been playing the game heavily and I am trying to get a review out soon.

@@picklebuckeye it really is, the business model of FOMO should hurt the industry, but there are enough buyers to keep it going and the quality of games are worse for it. The KSE of this could go to retail and make money, making two versions of the game is not cost effective for consumers but what do I know.

I have been playing the game and the tokens are mainly for the zone survival missions. They are more like one off missions and don't really add to campaign play, but are optional missions that don't offer you loot. The binder seems very unnecessary and should of come with some instructions. I will check out your video when I get the chance.

What happened to Lost Territories and Changing Weather expansions? Do we get 12 stalker figurines or only 4?

There are only 5 stalker figures but 12 character cards. Wave 2 will have a 3rd story campaign the stretch goal campaign, magnet die, 4 stalker characters, non-gam play stretch goals, duty and freedom factions pack, zone companions, personal stories part 2 and the art book. I could not find any thing about the changing weather. Playing the game there are some weather effects that are random encounters, but I am not sure if that is the changing weather expansion. Duty and freedom will add 8 stalker minis, but not sure how that is going to be intergraded into the main game. Its not much to go on but it was all I could find out for you.

​@@clammerify lost territories is a part of core box, changing weather has been merged with event cards and stalker figures are universal for all stalkers (except monster Hunter)

This one isn't as big as some other games. It is heavy for its size, but over all you do get what you paid for.

I have been play testing it and so far I am liking it. I have also been playing earth under siege and I am not liking the game play. Stalker the game play makes sense. The episode system is good for keeping track of things and surprises. It not like how Death may die does it, I like this system better.

I'm surprised to see so many favorable reviews for this game. For it's components, look and mechanics. Nothing about it is too different than some of the racing board games already out there. I've seen fan made board games with similar mechanics released years prior to this yet this gets so much praise despite lacking originality. I feel like most of the praise comes from it being a Brotherwise board game.

I don't know much about Brotherwise games. I have played my fair share of racing games and in general I do not find them fun. DK is knock off Mario Kart and the only thing that makes me like this is the heavy interaction with other players. Most racing games from my experience is you doing your own thing and then trying to block. The only other combat racing game I have played is Rem Racers and I don't like it compared to DK.

@@GenjiGamer I know, I also play most of the racing games and they doesnt have the gaming exp that is needed to be good, strategic and fun. But in 2025 there will be best racing game, and it will come from a South América publisher y play the prototype and its genius.

I was hesitant about it but I am glad to have it. It's a definite try before you buy. Point salad games are overwhelming and obscurely complicated when you see them.

I know that there's plans for another game that is giving me rising sun vibes.

I honestly forgot about that book. How does it work? I am busy testing out the RPG and it is taking longer than expected for the first campaign. It looks like a choose your adventure with some RPG elements.

@GenjiGamer it's pretty fun. There are three profiles to choose from printed in the book, plus an additional three on the Aconyte website and two more published in the Dark Horse comic. There are a couple of puzzles to solve, and skill checks are done with 1-2 d6 plus appropriate stat listed for the investigator. Other than that, it reads like a Choose Your Own Adventure book

Murder at the Excelsior Hotel Arkham Horror: The Card Game is the best for me. Most of the side scenarios don't give you anything that is worth the effort. Excelsior has a good amount of replayability. Epice multiplayer sets such as blob, labyrinth, war of outer gods and machinations of time are better if you have enough people for multiple teams. Hope that helps.

It's better than I thought

I wanted to play thunder road, but I have not had the chance to meet anyone local with a copy.

We picked this up at Gen Con. So far it is our favorite game of the Con.

I should have mentioned the film. That piece is off. According to Jason the snaps have to be facing a certain direction to be tight.

It is a lot better than it looks. I am pleased with it.
