211 was a cursed score in this series... Ian Volante who won here was unable to make the Grand Final, whilst the other contestant with a score of 211 this series (Neil Crockford) went out in the first round of the Grand Final...
And Neil Crockford was unlucky again in the final series when he got the 16th highest score. But since he came along as reserve for the grand final William G let him have a nice Waterford crystal vase that all the grand finalists got.

That was the most frequent situation at the end of round one in the original series of 15 to 1. "3 down, 12 to go" was almost as common.
