I take my caravan battery off and take it home from the end of October to the end of February now. Even though I have a solar panel, the battery is destroyed by the new year if I leave it on. There isn't enough light in the NE of England to keep the battery in good order throughout the winter. I charge my battery at home on a trickle charger in the garage and only put it back on in the winter if we use it. Our camper van is on the drive, so I charge it there regularly. The solar panel on the camper van seems to do the job though but the van aux battery needs charging anyway.

🤣I now know where you live.🤣😂. My MH had lots more snow on the roof. Didn't look so bad at the storage. Lots worse down by us. 😪

Everywhere looks so pretty in the snow but it’s not practical with school runs and cars everywhere. Glad the local authority gritters have been doing their best. Hi, the video is superb. A fix for me ... however, did you go on to replace the motor ?

Looks like you had an inspection panel on the left hand side, why not just remove that and push your cable through!

In the video, it looks like the 12v has a screw in it, just undo it, and the plastic casing comes apart and push the cable up from the bottom

Glad you managed to get this video uploaded with sound eventually 👍. Nice yoga mat Tracey 🤪 I still think there’s a few things manufacturers need to think of when designing where cables do. But on the other hand Brownhills knew exactly what the issue was - why can’t they drill a hole pre-sale to sort the issue. A cheap and simple fixe the dealer should sort before selling my personal opinion (especially when we’re talking about so much money). Xx

Lovely site fantastic staff. Not far to the York park and ride. Only downside its next to a military firing range. So constant background sounds of munitions. One of our dogs couldn't cope !! Nice honest review 👌

Congratulations on your lovely new van to create many more happy memories in. Just a thought, do you think you got favourable treatment from Brownhills as UA-camrs to protect their reputation?

Lovely van. We have a Rapido 866f but 10 years old. Recently refurbed the upholstery and picked up some of the Rapido new colour lines so have the terracotta curtains! We couldn’t afford the price jump from a 10 year van to a new van, you do right to update and get exactly what you want.
