Im still waiting on dragon age 4 cause veilguard wasn't it.
I don't think you're getting next Dragon age just saying !.
Welcome to Utah! ❤️
what the frog doin? 😅 Also.... IS THAT A F**KING GRIZZLEY BEAR?
It's a FRIGGIN BEAR!!
This game looks really promising. Ever since I watched The Expanse, Lost In Space and Raised by Wolves I've been looking for something to scratch that itch, and Starfield was most certainly NOT it.
Yeah, Starfield wasn't my cuppa tea either. Really looking forward to Exodus though!
The series is done.
Long long time ago, I can still remember when videogame used to make me smile. I knew if I had my chance, to make people immersed and maybe they will be happy for a while. But 2015 made me shiver, with paper I delivered. gamers are slandered, I could not take one more step. I cant remember if I cringe when I read about woke feminist whine, some thing touch me deep inside, the day videogame dies. Bye Bye Miss Lara Croft Pie. Drove a Chevy in a Forza to a levee, but the levee was dried. Good old boys was playing Xbox 360 and PS3, saying this will the day that I die, this will be the day that I die.
Ok if you liked it but there won't be another game. The series is dead. ME is their only hope of keeping the studio alive.
kind of refreshing to see a video that is not explicitly shitting on game.
Promised I'd only make content on things I like. I intend to stick to that.
@@SupportCrow thank you for that. please keep em coming.
dragon age was one of my fav series from when i was little. origins came out 6 years after i was born, i grew up watching my older cousins play. ive waited what feels like my whole life for veilguard and the way my peace was instantly disturbed when i saw that goofy ahh trailer. diabolical
Yeah, a lot of people share that feeling lol
Why someone would want to play another game as the turd of a character that is Rook is beyond me
Bioware needs to be shutdown before they do any more harm to these IP's.
Clearly you feel rather strongly about this. If you get to a point where you want a 100+ people to lose their jobs, maybe you should just play different games. Find something that makes you happy and don't waste time on the things that don't. Sorry BioWare isn't cutting it, but there's plenty of RPGs on Steam to try out. MrHulthen released a vid about BG3 and its really good. Give that a shot.
who the fuck is Rook?
I think the moment that trailer came out and announced the new name and the companions, I was just ohh nooo and when I played it and none of my choices mattered in the previous games were there 😅I checked out of the game after like 3 hours and I don’t think I will buy a BioWare game again , love the hair physics but was one of the most generic action light rpg and I watched my best friend play it and just laughing at it the whole way, so many horrendous design decisions were made were made
Yeah, compared to the previous games, Veilguard handles player choice and consequence with less consistency. Act 3 is great for choices made throughout the game, but.. getting there is the challenge.
You can call me insane, but I didn’t really mind the lack of imported choices. Actually, Veilguard is really my new favourite Dragon Age game for a few reasons.
Heads up the hair physics belong to FIFA/EA, these developers didn't even create that. You're welcome.
Not only is Hawke running around without their amour on, the artist of it also got laid off
God damn.
the copium in this video xD
the copium in your comment
Honestly who cares anymore
Not me, Bioware hasn't been Bioware in years.
EA you have closed studios for less what happen to you come on do the world a favor and close this slop of a studio already
Agreed. They ruined Andromeda, then created the slop that was Anthem, and now they ruined DA as well. They had their chance multiple times. Im done with them.
They've closed studios for MUCH less. Bioware needs to be shut down before they destroy what goodwill Mass Effect has left.
That would be a terrible shame for those who really enjoyed playing through this game, me being one of them.
As someone who hates this game, this might be my favorite video on it. I love the positivity and I’m so glad someone enjoys this game even though it is not for me at all. I don’t need to watch content to get me riled up about stuff I already know I don’t like and changes I already hate. Keep it up! I’m happy you found joy in this game!
Wow no enthusiasm lmao
What is that thing that Poppy is evil ? WTF.
That ritual in 4th book was Voldemort's creation ,so She would not return this way
Ah, but he says "It is an old piece of dark magic, the potion that revived me tonight." - Voldy. My guess it was Herpo that created the potion, but that's just my personal guess.
@SupportCrow but " The rudimentary body is a necessary part of the ritual, which indicates that, if Voldemort invented the former, he likewise must’ve invented the latter( the ritual). It makes no sense otherwise"
wow thats shit
Happy Thanksgiving!!
This is interesting.
Happy Thanksgiving Joe!
Honestly I wouldn’t mind. I actually felt this way too, but because rooks reactions and how linear the choices were reminded me of horizon. You had your own dialogue choices and could pick certain things, but, for the most part the game and Aloy’s personality were pretty set in stone. Even the mini romance was one NPC
Yeah, when it's like that, I'd rather the game not bother. Still a cool game though.
so u found no issue with them redconning the antivan crows? they are not good nice happy family, if played olders games u would know, the are morally gray and kidnap children to make them future crows, sometimes they can be antagonists in ur story even from 0-1:24 and i see ur ignoring some flaws already what DA fans cant forgive to BioWare, if u like it good for u but i am amazed u turn blind eye to all the flaws, cause the crows part is just one issue/flaw
I agree. Sanitizing the Crows and the slave culture of the Tevinter Imperium and taking away the potential ability to shape those things for the better or worse is easily the highest offense for me about this game. We're in complete agreement there. When I started the channel, I decided that when I ever did a review type vid, then 1. I'd spend enough time actually play the game to get a feel and 2. only talk about 5 things I *LOVE* about it. I could easily make a 5 things I HATE about DATV, but there's a bajillion vids out there like that already and this world has more than enough negativity. And what I'd say is already probably echoed a thousand times over in Yt. That's why I made *support*crow. A channel for possitive, supportive content for people that are tired of the constant, easy negative.
@@SupportCrow yea its overwhelming negative, mostly on YT, and most positive videos are positive cause they (Ea/BioWare) used that shield, add pronoun and top scars in char creation and activists will defend it, activists and ppl who believe that activists represent the LGBTQ (OFC not talking about u) when in truth they represent their own delusions, i have heard many LGBTQ ppl speak out that this only make thing worse for us (how they overall did the LGBTQ stuff) not better, we have already gotten our rights and most accept us, but they say it in other words, maybe half wording is same, cant remember, so most positivity is political/ideological, but some like it just for action
Lol fishing for content i see lol
really glad to see a video like this. i really enjoyed this game too. there are things i dont like about the game, but no game is perfect. but anyone talking about how the dialog, and writing is just flat out wrong, also the people complaining that they took the dark fantasy out of it. and im not going into why exactly they are wrong because spoilers. but i think this story is really dark, its just not grimdark because it does have a somewhat happy ending. which all of the games have had so i dont know what they are complaining about. but i played through as a gray warden warrior. and im trying to figure out if i wanna go mourn watch mage or shadow dragon mage for my second playthrough. i loved all the companions. very well written and actually seem like people. i didnt like a few forced scenes that happen towards the end. makes no sense to me, seems like they just wanted shock value. but i can over look that. my only major complaint is that there are still a lot of unanswered questions that seem like they are likely to never be answered because the next dragon age games will be in a totally new age. like what happens with the architect. i never kill him, so what happens with him. also where the heck is the warden commander? for that matter what happened to alistair after inquisition. and i know these are very subjective questions, but these are indeed questions ive always had and are likely never going to get an answer to.
You think we're going into a new Age?
@@SupportCrow i mean, considering that SPOILERS there are no more arch demons, and the blight is now disorganized at best and the vast majority of the blight still sealed away. beyond that, both tevinter and antiva are going to go through a period of unheard of change because of what happened to their capitals. and weisshupt is gone, but griffons are back. and the dwarves now know about their true origins, elves do too. thedas is going to go through some extreme amounts of change here. im not sure if its officially going to be a new age in the game world or not, but as far as our game experience goes, the next game is bound to be pretty different story and antagonist wise. course they did sort of set up the next bit, if you found all of a certain thing throughout the game. ((at least i think you needed to find all 3 of em i might be wrong)) but that is something that hasnt even so much as been hinted at in previous games. so i have no idea what they are setting up with that, but clearly something truly ancient. presumably older than the elves.
I'm actually working on a theory vid about who our next antagonist is, so it's great seeing this speculation already! What do you think the next Age would be called? 10 bucks on Titan Age.
@@SupportCrow i could see titan age. that would make some sense. but honestly dont have any real speculation on what the next age might be called, i suck at naming. lol. this current age was called the dragon age and ill admit, i never really understood that either. seemed like the blighted age would have been more appropriate since it started with a blight and at the very least had 2 blights during the age, one of which was the worst blight the world had ever seen. so i dunno. i will probably end up watching that video about the next antagonist though. thats a mystery on very interested in. lol.
Blink twice if you’re being paid AND/OR being threatened by EA to make this video. Doing a lot of offscreen staring to not think someone else is in the room…
If you like playing games that are written by your local Karen in HR, you're in luck! Also if you wait a couple weeks it'll probably be on steam for 5 dollars like Suicide Squad, Dustborn, and Concord - well... never mind. RIP Concord.
Not even worth it at $5
I still won’t buy it. I had dragon age on ps3 and this does not look or remind me of anything of the version I have. 70 dollars hell no. When it is 5.99 I may consider it.
No one is forcing you to. Take that money and find a game that you enjoy. That's what everyone does anyway.
My point is that I was interested but the game play does not resemble what I remember, neither does the narrative. These characters don’t even talk like we are in that world. I am trying to get away from reality not be thurst back in to it in a game. I am only expressing my opinion because I loved Dragon Age 2 and this is not my Dragon Age. I only want to play because it says Dragon Age and this like the recent Joker movie. Walked in thinking it was gonna be gritty movie and got Joker singing show tunes. Very bait and switch.
@@ericwang504 Yeah, I get that. BioWare has changed the style, gameplay, and music of the franchise too much over the last two decades. I agree, it should have stuck with what it had, but that's ultimately out of our hands. Hopefully, they turn up the grit for the next game.
This game is for they/them, Avowed will be for you...
Shoutout for having the courage to even express this view.
Yup, that's me. Beacon of courage. XD
I like the dragon age world. Even though they are re writing it again. I hate the characters . Kinda sad about all the characters being so weak minded ..and complaining. And needing of affirmation.. Dragon age 1 origins Morrigan did not need affirmation She was dirty wild witch who gave no fucks what you thought .. Isabella. Was too.. and is . But so interesting i hate this character now. But she was inspiring in dragon age 2 Where are the confident characters? Where are the badass characters? I feel like om my whole parties. Guardian or parent. And i cant even slightly romance any character because i think im talking to children
Yeah, I've seen that complaint make the rounds also. The Veil"Therapist" is probably a better name for the game XD I think they just leaned to heavily towards humor in this one. Hopefully they add more grit to the sequel, if we get one.
@SupportCrow lucanus is the only character I think is well written. However... This new crows lore. Makes me miss Zevran And his story.
@@jonathanrothmare3509 Yeah, I'm not a fan of the direction they went with the crows also. If they wanted to shift the morality of the Antivan Crows to something relatively better, then that should have been a decision made by the player through their connection with Lucanis. Imo.
This game is absolute garbage and soon all of this ideology and DEI hiring of awful staff will end. They will eventually run out of money making games like this that are objective failures.
Really trying hard not to hate
Just let it go and play something you like lol Lingering around things you don't like or hate is bad for your health! It's ok if you don't like Veilguard. There's many other games in the sea XD
Do you enjoy having these three dialogue choices. Sure Ok Yeah 3 choices masqueraded as different things all morally positive. Lame as fuck
I agree with you, just finished my first playthrough and I LOVED it. The first few hours of the game have a bit of an odd pacing, but then it finds its footing and as you said, Act 3 is magnificent. I think the companions is what I like the most about it, getting so invested in them and their stories made the sacrifices at the end land so much harder.
Yeah, Act 3 tore me up real good XD
Getting to the end of your video, I want to echo your sentiment that the community for this game has been incredible. I am legally blind, and sometimes I have trouble seeing little items or finding that one pesky pathway to move a quest forward. Every time I've struggled, I have successfully found a video to guide me forward. This game has a ton of intricate little quests and I am very grateful to the people who have taken the time and care to make little video guides for each of those so I and others can access them and get help.
The community is truly one of a kind. Good to know there's people out there still making that kind of content.
I'm having a great time with this, too. It has its strengths, it has its weaknesses. It's a product of its time, and it went through development hell. Don't let the bastards get ya down; they're no better, in their own way, than what they claim to oppose. It's a game. You're a person AND a gamer, regardless of whether you kneel to these gnome kings or not. You have the right to enjoy the games YOU regardless of what any fanatical morons--of any ideological fiction--might try to bully you into via the internet. My PERSONAL ranking, based on how I feel I'll end up playing these on repeat are: (fave to least): DA2 (favorite): I played this three times, one for Anders, one for Fenris, and one for Merrill. Never been an Isabella fan so I didn't bother with her. Hawke's multi-year journey through Kirkwall, as a more character focused, personal quest, really gripped me and I felt a great connection to his / her character and the friends made in this game. As someone with really terrible direction, the stuff most hate about this game worked for me. And of the three previous games it had my favorite combat system. DATV (2nd place): I'm not kidding when I say I'm loving this. It doesn't have as much 'bite' as the other DA games in its dialogue choices (biggest flaw, imo), going for a more creepy-cute aesthetic in its art, rather than pure dark fantasy. But I love creepy-cute as a gaming vibe, I adore this cast and how this game plays--which means I'm confident I will do a few replays. I love the level design--with regard to that, DATV fixes DA2's biggest weakness and it does so in spades. And as a gamer with disabilities, DATV may have the most incredible suite of accessibility and difficulty settings that I've ever seen in any game, bar none. It won't matter to everybody, but it's essential to my enjoyment and I'm grateful for it. DAO: I've been around since the beginning, and I do recognize the things that made people love this game so deeply. For me, I think the reason I'm ranking it here is that my direct interaction with it was challenging (and when I first got it I really, really struggled). For reference, I beat this AFTER beating DA2 and realizing that my personal path to victory would be through running a spirit healer main so I wasn't forced to use Wynne, who wasn't necessarily my favorite. I love the cast, the story, and the world, but I struggled for years to figure out how to adequately play this in a way that worked for me. DAI: My absolutely, utterly least favorite entry and my dislike is purely over the implementation of healing vs. big open spaces. I despised this so much that it impacted my entire experience. Everything else I liked: the cast, the art, the story. But I never ended up truly beating this one, which separates it from every other release in the series. And to me, "I didn't beat this one." about a series of games that I consider one of my favorites specifically because I have beaten them puts it on stun lock and keeps knocking it down. I share this with you as a reminder that there is no right or wrong way to love gaming, or to feel about games in a series. Your experience is YOURS and while others are free to counter it with their own experience, I would encourage you not to let others make you feel bad for feeling whatever is true to your own experience. Take care.
It's all good. When I started this channel, I wanted it to focus on what I enjoy and not just fall in line with the popular opinion of the week is. I'll always make content based on what I enjoy and there's no changing that. I'm glad you enjoy the game and are making full use of its accessibility options! DAO is actually my favorite in the whole series. It's dark and gritty in a way that none of the other games are and it offers up more options in terms of Dialogue that simply wouldn't be feasible in a voiced protag. My least favorite has to be DA2 sadly XD While I enjoyed the story, the sudden change of combat style and the constant reuse of level design rubbed me the wrong way. DAI is easily my 2nd favorite purely because of the sheer expansiveness of it. I lived for moments where things were moving, but what holds this one back for me was all the side quests. DATV is #3 for me. I enjoy the story, the companions, and the level design, but there's this looming shadow of where content used to be. I think if it was given more of those handcrafted levels and really expanded more on the world, it could have topped Inquisition for me.
Oh that’s nice. I thought this was a sarcastic title. I’m glad you enjoyed the game, despite all the criticism.
Yeah, I genuinely enjoyed the game to many peoples' dismay apparently. I'm assuming "BoyGeorgia" is in reference to the singer? Noice.
Low effort bait.
I'm skipping through most of the video, but from the sound of things you're a very easy guy to please. The game isn't complete garbage, its just mostly garbage, and you seem to enjoy what little of value it offers. I'm glad you're having fun, but Jesus Christ does this seem like someone's who's so deprived of quality entertainment that middling trash seems like a nugget of gold.
Yeah, I do have a low threshold of entertainment. I'll give you that. Upside: I easily find enjoyment in just about anything in life. Downside: Other people don't understand that. It is what it is.
@@SupportCrow ur lucky cause who are more in to DA and it lore hate it (cause changing crows cause of snowflake culture cause we cant have evil nor morally gray groups and characters, it is 1slap at fans faces), i am in the middle but dislike it, i say 1slap cause this is only 1flaw of the game
OP’s brain has no wrinkles
