everyone get's stuck on hi and low power be couse there is none as of 2024 G M R S shares channels 15 through 22 channel 15 through 22 F R S are off repeter channels and G M R S channels are high power F R S are low power in fact meaning 1/2 of a watt max out put .

the instructor says that's there's not an ccc every ten miles listening. Well yeah there kinda is. Maybe not EVERY TEN MILES but they cover most of the united States under the National Shared Remote Equipment Network (NSREN). They have them in every state scanning remotely and can be accessed via vpn from anywhere in the world by fcc employees and they record what frequency, band, how long talked, etc etc..... They can listen live or check logs.

One thing's for sure. Gmrs linking of repeaters is definitely illegal

I really like Midland Radios, but those GMRS don't have wide receiver. Not like the BTECH radios and WOUXUN. I do wish that Kenwood and Motorola would venture into the General Mobile Radio Service.

that is a pl 259 plug that is a ear phone jack plug buy the way I have his big brother at 45 watt moble set up for base use with a mag mount I would put you antenna on the trunk so at free way speed it won't blow off you car

and my 45 watt radio would look grate there also nice radio poor antenna need to make magnet stronger and bigger

Decent pump for the money. But screen has a huge scratch on it out of the box when I pulled off the protective plastic sticker. Would have been done during manufacturing process.

I do not get any psi when inserting thr needle in a new basketball. Further, no air is being pumped into the ball; rather, it has lost a lot of air. Ideas? Thanks.

Thanks. As usual, instruction are confusing or plain wrong. Plus, very small print. For preset pressure refers you to the ball or a table k, which is not present. It makes no mention of the preset value being shown when inset the needle. Geez, who writes these things?!

Great hands-on review. I was thinking about buying these but, after seeing them in use, I realize they won't work well for my use case. Thank you. BTW, I looked into the English manual for the Frequency Hopping function, as I'm sure you did as well. The manual is nearly useless.

Super review. Really appreciate the perspective of a true radio expert as opposed to the 900 other videos that all waste time explaining what GMRS is. Sure wish I understood all the stuff at the end about swr and reflected power. I didn't hear any cuss words so I'll take that as it didn't fail. I do wish it could transmit on FRS but last I heard their newest version of this still won't. They're sticking with the story about mobile devices (detachable antennas) not being approved for FRS. I’m planning to run the antenna wire through my firewall. Could I cut the end and wire on a new connector, or will that mess up quality of signal or something ?

A very underrated compressor for it’s speed and efficiency. Lots of off-roading friends run it and it’s great from what I hear from them. Curious Lyle, the decals above the fenders… were those custom made? And if so, from where? I dig em’! 🤙

A mobile should be closer to the legal limit. Only get one with 40 watts or more
