So! Hello, I'm Amberhoneybee. As mentioned in the description, this is probably going to be my final Enstars-related upload, at least for a foreseeable while. Maybe. Ambee's decision making truly is fleeting, but I felt as though something like this comment was overdue by now. I didn't want to simply drop a video and suddenly change things (or disappear), I felt that would be disingenuous. So, in regards to Enstars: Simply put, my interest in it has evidently faded over time - as you can probably guess by the characters I jinriki'd and Enstars songs I tended to cover, my favourite units are Alkaloid and Crazy:B, whose writing has been... not so great for a while now, lol. When your favourite units have become a bit of an unfixable mess, it's kind of hard to want to stay invested, and probably just witness things deteriorate or pointlessly stagnate further. These jinriki voicebanks were pretty much the only thing keeping me tethered to the series once I'd made them; Utau actually became my favourite synth to tune in (despite my jinrikis being so janky from a technical standpoint)! Weird how things work out. My account is pretty synonymous with Enstars - username and profile picture check out - which is why I always stuck to relating to it somehow. Obviously though, while I may not cover new Enstars songs I haven't before going forward, I also don't want to simply cycle through the same old ones I already have just to keep on-brand; not only because it'd be a drag for me, but I'm sure people would roll their eyes if they saw Stippling version 8 (as much as I do love that song, even now). I still enjoy making the funny robots sing though, so I will continue to share the little things I make here and there. I'd like to use Piko more. He's been sitting on my shelf forever and deserves more than being just a secondary vocal, but that's a problem to solve with a different upload. Whether or not I'm still an "active" fan or in the Enstars community, it will always be a little special to me. I've made some amazing friends through it and have been able to create content that others enjoy - I'm sure some will be disappointed by this news, I apologise to those who were hoping to someday hear full versions of my existing covers or for me to cover other Enstars songs. Regardless, people have given me so much support over these years, and I'm grateful I had the opportunity to connect with so many. I've done my best to read everyone's comments and will continue to (as long as I remember, that is). I hope what I've made can remain a fun little memory of my time with the franchise. There are others supplying the niche of combining vocal synths with Ensemble Stars who inspired me to do it as well in the first place, so if that's what you're into, please give them your support, too! Perhaps this username that's a direct reference to an Enstars character/unit and wack profile picture of Kohaku with an ugly Crazy:B hat are no longer exactly relevant to me, but after ~4 years of having them, I'm pretty attached to them now... I think I said it at 100 followers (which seems so long ago at this point), but I'll say it yet again: Thank you for enjoying the things I like with me.
