Thanks for watching, the Leagues are not being run right now so this will not work till the leagues start up again and I do not know when the league's will start again, now you need club members if thats your goal to participate in that aspect of the Sim but getting club members might be tough with the ocean map just being released.... I hope the league's will start again this fall? but haven't heard anything about that.... Blue Skies

try asking on Fishing Planet on discord, they have a "wanting to join a club" section, but my guess is because the new saltwater map was just released last week thats what ppl are interested in right now?.....

join a competitive club and this is how they get 100s of thousands of points and others wonder how they do it, nothing in life is easy gotta work hard if you want the prize, its easy with 4-5 ppl talking to each other while doing it, its a small sacrifice of an hour or 2 then do as you please....

You should have made a video and saved me the trouble lol. This is an exploit in the sense that its not in the"Spirit of the Game", your supposed to use the emerald jig head with the crayfish to catch 11 snakeheads like the challenge requests, this use is therefore an exploit of the game mechanics to lessen your time to finish the challenge by allowing 2-4-1 thats how it should be seen, not as, were smart because we figured out how to NOT do the challenge as stated, Q: so you think exploiting is just common sense?...

@TokisFishingPlanet I'd call the cheating in comps and tourneys exploits not tipping off you lure with a crayfish it's common sense to combine the buzz bait and crayfish as if the count individually why wouldn't the combination work?

@@CarpNowandThen OK but the challenge is to "Catch 11 Snakeheads with the Emerald Jig Head W/Irish Crayfish" NOT to put the crayfish onto another lure and get 2-4-1, does it say to do that in the challenge description? or does it say to put the crayfish on the emerald jig head? your not seeing this right...

@TokisFishingPlanet I think I am seeing it right this works both ways as tou can catch fish on emerald jig head and xseries nymphs you only need one or the other just like when bottom fishing you only need event bait on one rod now tou see my point getting double is a bonus not an 3xplout

@@CarpNowandThen If it was cheating then Fishing Planet would disqualify the people doing it, the ppl who always seem to be winning are not exploiting the comps, they have figured out how to use the tools of the game to win, example, there is a cat fish comp at the Congo (No Ruler No Party), the comp is held at low peak time making it hard to get cats to bite, what the winners are doing is using spod to bait certain areas thus getting the cats to bite during the lowest peak time, the comp rules do NOT say you cannot do spod nor does it disable spod usage during the comp so the winning ppl do that while the rest have no ideal why these guys are catching cats and they are not, this is how the comps work, no cheating and no exploitation just figuring it out as a "group/club" and sharing it with there club mates and friends, BamBamslams is a good example, he started putting up comp vids a year ago but suddenly stopped, why???? he is in the top all the time, he won the Crappie Valentine event he knows things that we don't, we should hunt him down with pitch forks and torches and make him tell us everything LMAO....

I like to hear myself talk and I write allot to, I do talk allot in real life with real people, they say TMI, my philosophy about that is "you can NEVER give TMI" when teaching or explaining to folks, if they complain it sounds to me like its a personal problem and maybe they should listen more instead of complaining so much?, so people who complain that others talk to much "cannot" be bothered and pretty much want things there own way like you and want to get that point across, I get it but life is such that you either ignore it or leave, No Crybaby Allowed.....

Yeah but how many points are you getting there? I fished this at the Congo several times and max drag will only get you a broken rod or reel eventually and like I said in my vid, there are some small fish that are overpowered and take so long to get in its not worth it and your catching fish every 12-18 seconds here at LS so why bother with the Congo?, I've caught fish over 10lb/4.5kilos at the Congo and they were hard to get in and only worth 2 or 3 points anyway like here at LS and only level 75 people can go to the Congo, even people at level 45 can do this at LS, and why go fight strong fish? I don't think you're getting the why you do this at LS Part Vs. Congo, this is about club points not XP you fish the Congo for XP you fish LS for Club points, this is monotonous grinding for hours its boring and requires a person who wants to do this for hours, but there are those of us with the fortitude to do it, I've done this for 8 hours straight before and when done I was like "I'm not doing that again" but was back at it the next day because I want to get allot of points period. I don't care if I win or lose I'm addicted to the points.

I was in another club before I started my own and we were in the masters league soooo I've already been to the top once, and they will just start this again so no harm just having fun right...

I doubt that because why would they penalize the expert class? maybe? but that doesn't seem like something they would go to the trouble to do, if you go to the everglades and other places with this setup Bass and some other fish are only 1 point till you get a trophy then you get 3 points or 4 for uni bass but a young bass and a common bass only get 1 point and I have had this happen at other places while testing it out so my best guess is the fish and its size is why ur only getting 1 point, I keep saying lone star for the free fast forwarding to peak time all the time, gotta pay at the other places I'm cheap I guess lol.

I'm using your setup in all the 5 Rods, i'm Just using wax Worms because i'm at lv. 60, like a Blacktail Shiner 0.375 LB only got 1 Club Point with Always 3 green triangles

Ok, seems i solved using mono .005 line and i manage tò get 2 CP with common fish

@@xmartino405 glad you got it worked out, only 2, 3, 4 mono and 4 braid work otherwise your line is to heavy, I use all of the ones I just listed and they all get 2 or 3 points for me, the devil is in the details....

@@bambam23-vi1kl thanks I realized what you meant after I wrote you, yeah the FP Blog said max 7, that would be 3 for a ui and 4 for the other 4 equals 7 points and I've never been in a room with 4 others doing this besides myself, soooo thanks for the info, I would have thought 9 max would be the norm 4+5=9 so 8 seems like a weird number unless someone was only getting 3 points for a uni while everyone else was getting 4 for a uni?, with my setup you might get 9 points but getting 5 others to a lake is an accomplishment I feel and 7 or 8 or 9 points is good stuff I think?...

@@TokisFishingPlanet when you're competing with these other clubs the only way to achieve one of the top positions is atleast 2 full groups

my math is way off soooo I apologize your right that 8 max is it not 9 max I'm seeing 5 people instead of just the other 4 at 1 point (+4) so max 8 not max 9 is max lol sorry for any confusion I caused...

This is not about XP its about getting Club Points for your Clubs league so you can move up to the next level if your fishing SOLO, Experience Points is something diffrent than this and yes the Congo has the best XP return for your time, I'm farming Goliath Tigerfish right now and a Uni is 25,000-30,000 XP, the perch are more but I found a spot that I can fill my 1500lb keepnet pretty fast with goliaths and do other things at the same time like cook and computer work because of the the rod holder, I have to keep switching spots with the boat and use lures which means I'm unable to do other stuff around my house but with live bait and the rod holder I can set and forget till the bells go off which helps me out when farming XP...

because it doesn't change the points you get wether its 2lb mono or 4lb braid gets you the same points anywhere, but braid is just stronger and lasts longer than mono, the rod and reel combo seems to be the main factor but to heavy a line will go back to 1 point or 2 point per fish cause now the setup is unbalanced, pay attention to the water/air temps, 71º Fahrenheit or 21.5º Celsius and above for water temp its best, skip low water temps even if at peak time, I'm going to do a second vid about when to fast forward to since its free to do so to get the crazy all 5 rods have fish on I can't get them all in phun time situation.
