This song, for me, validates every intuitive feeling I have about what this life truly is. It is the question and the answer. A summation of all the struggle, the failed attempts at love, all the wounds we refused to let heal. Everything is okay now. All that was is now our evolution in hindsight. Every struggle was just a stroke upon the canvas of this rare form of art we call life. This is our enlightenment, seen through the wise lens of Time. If the story of life was written in musical notes, this would be the song. Play this at my funeral, a reminder that these bodies are just our vehicles to get home.

What algorithm was used to slow this down? I’m tempted to compare different algorithms in Ableton or Max/MSP now, just to hear the different textures that each achieves.

If this could be the soundtrack to my eternal sleep (I know that doesn't make any sense), I would be okay with it.

_Another Green World_ will be noted centuries from now as a breakthrough. Eno came out of the pop/rock genre and blew it wide open . . . to be parallel with anything the modern classical or progressive jazz was doing. But then he threw in very serious singer-songwriter stuff that created a sort of novel, beacon English Zen as well. He grew up hearing American Doo-wop schlock, ferchissake! It's like Albert Einstein's parents were Idi Amin and Imelda Marcos. Hitching your wagon to a star, indeed.

Original lasts 181 seconds= 3 minutes and 1 second. This version is 781 seconds = 13 minutes 1 second. 181x=781 x=781/181 x=4,31 This version is approxiametely 431% longer.
