I think double Anemo is about the only stall way you can go with Xianyun but she could potentially work in double Hydro too with Barbara and Neuvillete. Although I doubt she would bring tooo much value to a set up like that other than being a second Tulaytulla user.

It can be tricky to pilot but it's definitely a really fun deck!

@@Taktighoul Hey, sorry for bothering you, but I just realized I don't have Pankration. It looks like it takes multiple daily resets to get it. It's in the video title, so I assume it's pretty pivotal to the deck, but do you know what you would sub for it?

You could try Weeping Willow since you'll likely be 2 cards or under in the first rounds but it might be clunky or slow the deck down?... Yeah I wanna say that's about the closest option...

As an MTG player I've had to suffer twice because they really never learn that some artifacts have too good an affinity with other cards.

I tend to overthink everything out of habit so that I don't mess up when it actually matters but yeah it leads to situations where I end up overthinking on 1Hp 🥹

I did test it out but I couldn't find a good place to ever have it in the final list. My main problem with it is that it takes up a deck slot and you need to switch a lot to get a single instance of the damage boost. There might be a version of it that works but not one that I've tested.

@@Taktighoul I already did check it out and it was so satisfying to see Noelle again. In Blep's video no less <3 That really made my day and it gave me new energy to play TCG. However because of that horrible imballance done in patch 4.7, where rift between casual playing and meta got extremely wide, I was really considering quitting TCG for good. Because my mental health was seriously suffering when I just was simply not allowed to play deck I find fun, unless I was ready to lose every single match I play (even in arena... I struggled so hard). I mean I have fun playing TCG, I do not mind losing a game that much anymore. However I do mind when I am just not even theoretically able to win. (And due to my very empathetic nature and emotional basis my mainframe - brain - works on, I felt like I am letting Noelle down by playing her less.... don't mind me, I have massive inner child :D ). By the way even in that tournament of 4.7 match, I managed to get a win for Noelle <3 Because I got lucky and got matched with player who was complete newbie to tournament (but not to the TCG). After that I was kinda... numb to whatever was happening to me, because that one win was like fireplace in blizzard. Warming me, keeping me "alive" :3

It's just such insane raw draw and dice fixing that playing a single copy can get you out of sticky situations or find combo pieces. You'll find if you look at a lot of the top decks from last patch that they were running 1-2 copies of Countdown 3 just for the sheer value it brought!

​@@Taktighoul only if you are in a bad situation, then dice fixing or getting combo comes in handy, but 3 cost makes you waste a whole skill. If you are playing aggressive deck it is better to bring along willow of lake for it is insanely low cost 4 cards for 1 dice

The benefit of countdown is that it's instant and can fish you out of those situations. Playing only a single copy is just a tech card that you don't have to always play but when you need it it saves you. While willow IS a good card it needs to be in the right deck to work well and break even.

To make a miracle by fishing game changing cards like fresh wind, in other words playing countdown full cost means u TRUST in CARDS more than your 3 DICES, it's up to BALANCING DICES AND CARDS USAGE. Putting 1 emergency card in is fine if u don't use it then tune it but if u need it u can use...u won't get it from my experience it will hide at the bottom of the deck, unseen like u never put it in. U DON'T NEED DISCARD mechanics to play countdown too, as u can see from HeraldSayu deck in 4.7 Prince Cup.

Exactly this! I'm really impressed you picked all that up just by watching the Prince Cup. Sometimes the 4 cards you draw is worth way more than the 3 dice you spend to draw them.

I honestly just didn't see that line until you mentioned it now. It was probably the wrong thing to do but I wanted to conserve as many dice for the next round as possible.

It's one of the reasons I like the deck so much. It knows what it's gameplan is and it doesn't need a lot of ramp to get there cause it just bonks and focuses on the characters themselves
