AGT DM12X-PLUS Chinese Mini Excavator
Переглядів 4,2 тис.3 місяці тому
A quick review and some upgrades of my new DM12X-PLUS excavator. I purchased this on AGT Equipments website. I have no affiliation with them. I am only posting a link for ease if someone is interested. As of the making of this I see the price has jumped in 4 weeks by $400. The process was very smooth and I recieved it from the shipping company in 5 days. AGT www.agtequipment.com/collections/1-2...

Triple Spacepak heat pump system project

Triple monoblock Spacepak heat pump system with IBC boiler backup.
You might have mentioned it and I missed it, but in case you didnt know, that model has a fuel injected engine! Very nice upgrade!
Why would you live in California?
Another question?! Did you change the engine oil and hydraulic fluid instantly? If so, what did you use? How/where did you find the grease fitting manual? Any tips for a 1st time owner?
Hey sir, Thank you for making a video, may I ask how did you find all grease fittings? This thing came with NO manual and it’s our first piece of heavy machinery. I want to make sure it’s taken care of, she’s a beast this far, jerky, but wicked!!
They will sell these things to anyone should take a dummy test before you buy sadly if that were true this guy wouldn’t have one
Disconnect the seat switch
The sad complaints are unreal. Fix it
Top video
Thanks
I like the videos you put out
Thank you
Heat amd computers dont match. I would move that module to a cooler place.
Good idea, I have a ford f250 with the injection control on top of the motor. Stupidist idea ever!
Just purchased one of these at an auction up in Canada. Thanks for the video(s)! ive watched it about 4 times before i put in my bids! Still happy with it?
Yes it has some issues but I was aware of what I was getting into.
Unless these hydraulic have a check to keep from bleeding off. You have to remember you bought a cheap Chinese mini excavator. If you wount all perfect mini you will pay alot more like 20,000 to 30,000. You always have to do mods to get thing fixed
Understood.
rabbit to go faster and turtle to go slower, you have a menu in the display normaly, and then you switch the mode
Thanks for the info. I did try this and you were 100% correct.
who asked
Sounds like the cylinder is leaking internally if it's lowering down
Thats what I gathered. Whats entailed in repairing this. I also noticed that the cab with a load in the bucket on a slope will rotate by itself to the down slope side.
The groundhog version is a BH24D already has pilot controls ,hydro thumb , boom swing , cooling fan hydro cooler and filter , rear swing door with lock assembly , hydro safety arm to cut off hydraulics when its up so you can get in and out of the cab without accidentally engaging hydraulics while climbing on it , came with a custom counter weight , main battery cutoff , amd swing motor cushion valve , ripper finger , 14 inch bucket , quick disconnect adapter complete set of driving lites , delivered for 8700
More like $15,900 for the base model.
@@gtgeorge1814 that's with the kubota diesel engine I ordered mine with the briggs and stratton
I looked at that brand and never saw one for that price. Lowest price was $10,795 with swing boom like mine. I do like the options you describe, but to get it to CA where I live would have been another $1,500 to $2k. Yep, I cheaped out...lol
I live down a dead-end dirt road in the country and do not have a forklift to unload it so I am going to have to pick it up from the shipping company. Thankfully it is not far from the house. Only about a 15-minute drive. If I had a way to unload it at the house, I do have room for them to turn around, but sadly I do not. What kind of straps did you use? I do not see myself hauling this often so I am not sure I want to invest in chains right now for such a short drive. I was thinking of just using some heavy-duty ratchet straps. If I ever do start hauling it places, I will get some chains to do so.
I bought the wrong ones. You want some heavy duty ones. I would go with 4000pd straps.
i would use chains and chain binders
On the fan, I have seen where some people will add a thermostat to the cooling fan and connect it to a 12-volt circuit that is only on when it is running. That way they do not have to worry about remembering to cut it on or off. Seems a lot of them already have a spare wire in the engine area to tie the fan to.
Great idea!
I pre-ordered an AGT-DM13X-C over a month ago. I was supposed to get it mid to late October but now they are saying it could still be a couple of months. They have offered me this one at no additional cost but I am on the fence about it. I really need to start working on some land clearing very soon. That is the main reason I got it. Figured I could spend money on one of these instead of hiring someone to do the work and I would have a toy to do things with. I always have things on our property that this will be useful for. My plan for adding counterweight is to mount a hitch receiver on the back and use a cargo carrier to put something heavy on. I even thought about putting my RTIC cooler loaded with ice, water, and Gatorade on it. I also have my son's old barbell weights he never took with him when he moved out I can put on it.
It's been a good excavator, so I would go for the upgrade. I will say there are a couple of cons, which I will talk about in my next video. I like the receiver hitch idea, My only concern with doing that is it getting in the way in close quarters.
what size cooling fan? where did you buy it?
The Switch www.amazon.com/dp/B0CQ42Q2KG?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1 and the fan www.amazon.com/dp/B014KK7M06?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1
I bought the non plus version and recently added a counter weight. Here's what I came up with....ua-cam.com/video/IDoa_E0_Y_I/v-deo.html
Hola , esos ventiladores los trae de fabrica ? se calienta mucho esa maquina , cuantas horas se puede trabajar seguidas ? Saludos amigo .
The hydraulic cooling fan came with it. The other cooling fan I have added. I worked with it for maybe 2 to three hours, so far, in 95f to 100f.
Picked up mine same Model for the same price about a month ago I like mine so far the rabbit is for faster travel speed and yes I too am fabricating a homemade counter weight
Nice! Thanks for the info. I figured it did something, I just never played with it accept when I was stationary. What is your plan for counter weight? how much and where do you plan to mount it?
Just fabricated a piece for inside the door on the base near the motor,I ll reply back and send you some pics if you want
@@joker114th Yes I would like to see that.
I’m about to purchase the AGT because I want the pilot controls. Trying to decide whether or not I want the “plus” with the screens. How did you get it for such a good price? AGT website shows $8,300. Jim
I think mine was the 1st one. They adjusted the price right after I purchased it. The main screen with camera view and blutooth is kind of a joke but I do like the little screen. that shows fuel level and oil pressure among other things. That made getting the plus worth while in my opinion.
That Rabbitt / Turtle switch is for Hi and Low travel speed. That should have have 2 speeds according to the website.@@randybettis76
