As someone who truly cares about family, kids & their future, it was so unfortunate to hear Susan discuss giving money to an organization run by political zealots. Perhaps she is not aware of their recent history. So many other options for entertainment available.

Hi guys! I grew up on a dairy farm in IL. Moo to you too Sue lol....I lived in Fl 16 yrs. Between Gainesville n Jacksonville, so I* understand the scary hurricane seasons there... I now live in the Northwoods of WI. It's lovely up here! When you guys coming to Lake of the Torches Casino in Lac du Flambeau? I loved Dark Shadows. In IL I'd run off the school bus to get in the house and turn on the tv in time to watch D.S. Some days in winter mom would record it on the reel to reel tape recorder for me lol. I was 11 yrs old when it 1st aired. This was an awesome podcast. I love when family bands become a success. It's all the hard work and determination they put into it. Twenty Years After the Fire, songs by Bill and Barry...so great. Thanks for the mention of the link to Vicky and John's website - just followed up on the site. The whole thing about John playing with the rest of the Cowsills...wondering if the last time you all played together (with Barry) was for Bill's benefit concert. (That Going Home concert clip is great.) I'm sure this has been asked before - and maybe you have done it before, but it would be great to see a current line-up of Bob, Paul, John and Susan doing some of your (original? ) songs together, even just to put up here on the podcast, like in one of the COVID remote concerts that various combinations of musicians did. Or a house concert type thing. That would be great, for a lot of reasons. You could post even just one the songs here on the UA-cam channel with one of those donation $ thank you buttons so people could express their appreciation.

As always, watching the Cows, seeing that DNA not just physical, but that way of interacting, the mix of having fun and putting together the pieces history of the family history, making some kind of sense of it after the fact. And the way that music was the constant buoy and joy, over all of the years. And the switch to total professionalism, the shift in the facial expressions starting at around the 19 minute mark, talking about the label and John's new project. Watching these is always great, at 68, appreciating the jokes about getting older, bruises from hitting something made of cotton. It's kind of like getting to visit the cool cousins that you got to hang out with every few years. Whose parents were messed up in a way a lot like yours. Big thanks to the Cows, as always.

Not sure a box set would be the way to go (though I would definitely buy it in a heartbeat), but maybe a double CD set with deep cuts/mono mixes. I'd call it Some Good Years: The Best Of The Cowsills.
