Halo Infinite: The ONLY DEFINITIVE stutter fix
Переглядів 7 тис.2 роки тому
This is the ONLY DEFINITIVE stutter fix for Halo Infinite. I've been having stuttering issues ever since the game got released. NON of the videos I've seen on YT has worked. Time to fix this ONCE AND FOR ALL. PC-Specs for context: -RTX 3080 FE -AMD Ryzen 5 -1440p 144hz LG monitor
It's still loading slow as all hell I think I'm just going to switch it back to its new system because I'm having a hell of a time trying to freaking load shit
Can I ask you a question g-sync is only for those who have an RTX system installed into their computer but I don't so I don't have the same settings as you guys do
HOW DO I FIND A FIX
youre so lit me salvaste la vida
Idk why but i dont have the set up g sync tab .. i have everything else in the exact same order just missing the g sync tab .. any idea?
Is your monitor primarily G-Sync with FreeSync compatibility, or primarily FreeSync with G-Sync compatibility? Keep me posted.
it's worked! Thanks dude!
It worked. Recent Graphics card update screwed it up, but these drivers did help alot.
Even works now??
Perfect! 100%
makes sense I use to be able to play Halo then because my tennis game 2k25 requiered a driver upgrade halo stopped working ... I just want to have the newest driver and be able to play halo xD
343 Industries definitely needs to optimize Halo Infinite. Downgrading drivers just to play the game is frustrating and unacceptable, as it can negatively impact the performance of other games.
Thank so much my friend, it really worked
didnt work :(
I'm sorry it didn't work. Granted, the video is almost a year old, and the specific driver used in the video is 16 months old. Many updates from Halo and Nvidia have occurred since then. What seems to be your issue? Crashes?
@@DeltaHQ i did everything you said exepct for tbe gsync thing, i wasnt able to follow your step with that
@@jaayyc7988 Like I said, maybe the driver that I showed in the video is too outdated. Can you try out this driver: www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/212701/en-us/
Also, if you still have the Nvidia control panel and a G-Sync compatible monitor, try enabling 'Enable for windowed and full screen mode' in 'Set Up G-Sync'. Can you share your PC specs?
You try the update 555.85
I gotta download a different driver in order to play this? Nah, im just gonna uninstall the game lol I got the free multiplayer for firefight. Not worth it.
Totally Valid
thanksss a looot it really worked
I don't have gsync so this is no help to me
Me neither did you find any fix?
@@madwolfdrawingI didn't sorry bro
So, i have been stuck at the "press enter screen" all night until now, i have a ryzen 5 5500 and a geforce rtx 3060, with the 536.23 ver
Try the 555.85 update
Enabling G-sync fixed the frame skipping but it still hitches like a mofo. Your video also has massive hitching. Infinite is just fubar!
I’m sorry that it didn't work for you. The "hitching" you see may be due to the video recording not being well optimized, but the fix did worked for me at the time. Please note that this video is two years old. I recommend installing a "stable" driver shown in my latest video. Hope this helps, and good luck!
but how do you download that driver? That one doesn't appear to me because it's too old, how can I download it?
Thank you for asking. At minute 1:23, I recommended to search on Google: "NVIDIA 528.49 driver". The first link should guide you to the driver. I emphasized searching on Google because the driver is outdated. Here's the direct link to save you time: www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/199654/en-us/
@@DeltaHQ Bro, thanks to that driver, all the problems were solved. Before, the game would crash on me about 5 times in less than an hour. That's why I stopped playing it for a long time. Now, it hasn't crashed once. Thank you for the solution!
@@jairdiazguerrero7462 I'm so happy I served as great help! Enjoy the game!
not all the people has nvidia
I agree however, AMD drivers perform significantly better with Halo Infinite. I use AMD GPUs and haven't encountered any issues with the game.
Extremely helpful thank you.
I talk slow. 😅Here's the fix for that: 😂 Select the "Playback Speed" option and set it to 1.25😁 Thank you!
HAHAH, just got the game, thank you so much
I dont have the G sync option :(
This guy sounds like Gustavo🤣
I play on Xbox, but my monitor have gdinc how I can fixed?
not working with a x17 11th gen i7 and 3070 conncected via DisplayPort to gsync 1440p monitor.
Should have showed campaign, that's where the stuttering is
Stuttering happens in both Campaign and Multiplayer. The fix worked for me in both ways.
Unfortunately I’ve had this enabled the entire time and it hasn’t made a difference. Also removed the high res textures. It struggles to maintain a solid consistent frame rate even on lowest settings. It will show 100+ FPS but still show massive stuttering. I’m not sure what its problem is. (3060Ti and 5600x)
Do you have Vsync ON? If so, turn it off. Try set Minimum and Maximum frame rate Off/Unlocked. Does your monitor supports GSync? Does your Nvidia Graphics card’s drivers updated? Hope this helps.
@@DeltaHQ Yes to everything. Latest drivers. 144hz Gsync monitor. No minimum or maximum frames. Just something about this game in particular.
@@Psyopcyclops I'm sorry it isn't working for you. The majority including myself fixed the issue thanks to Gsync. There has to be a way to make yours work.
same. the game is half assed rated T fortnite game.
I subed
Wow! Thabk you very much buddy!!! Finally fixed it for me!!! Thanks x1000
Any fix for Xbox?
yes disable adaptive sync
I don’t even have adaptive sync. It stutters without it
So, my nvidia does not have gsync, but I do not believe that it is compatible? I noticed that in my monitor settings there is an "Adaptive Sync" that is enabled. Should I turn this off? Would that help? My monitor is an LG UltraGear Gaming monitor. It is 144hz & played at 2560x1440. Thanks in advance.
Turn it off, it's literally broken in this game they need to use Nvidia boost / low latency
How did you get the overlay for cpu and gpu temps in the top left?
I did it in “MSI Afterburner”. That was 2years ago and I forgot how to do it 😅
MSI Afterburner and RTSS, super customizable.
but why does halo infinite vsync not work? In theory this should improve fluency, I see that many people disable it but I don't quite understand why
Vsync only synchronizes your game's frame rate with your monitor's refresh rate. If your monitor is 60Hz then your game will run at 60FPS. That’s all Vsync does. What improves fluency is -> Gsync(Nvidia GPU) or -> Freesync(AMD GPU)
The hero we needed
Bro, thanks so much! I've been loosing my mind trying to figure it out 😵
Worked perfectly. Thank you so much!
Found a solution! Min frames should be equal to max frames that’s all!
Minimum Frame-Rate should be equal to Maximum Frame-Rate? My Pc can run the game approximately at 120fps max so… Minimum FPS: 120 Maximum FPS: 120 How is that possible? Depending on the map, amount of players, environment to render, the game needs to go lower than 120fps. In BigTeamBattle the games goes down approx. 80fps or even lower depending on what’s happening in the game. You cant just force the game to stay at a X-amount of frames. The solution that MAKES SENSE to me should be to turn off minimum frame rates and maximum frame rates. There, you are letting the game to run however it wants with no limitations. If the solution you’ve found works for you then more power to you and Im glad you fixed your problem. My solution was enabling GSync to windowed and full screen mode. Haven’t found any issues ever since.
Why do you have your Max Frame Rate set to 143 instead of 144??
Screen tearing occurs when G-Sync is out of range, which is when FPS is below 35 and above 143/144 (in case of my monitor with 144Hz). Therefore, there should be no tearing when FPS is 35-143, G-Sync is enabled, and V-Sync is disabled.
@@DeltaHQ Awesome, thank you. I'm not an expert, but I'm pretty tech savvy so this helped a lot. I've been having stuttering issues on Infinite and I have a beefy PC that a friend built for me. I will try your method!
@@traviswieser AWESOME! I hope it helps! >> *IF* you're still having issues<< Try turning off "minimum frame-rate" and click "unlocked" for "maximum frame-rate" to help stabilizing the frames.
This does NOT help AMD GPU ppl. =\
NVidia gpu’s are the ones that has Gsync. This tutorial is for Nvidia GSync users with either Gsync monitors or FreeSync monitors.
I have no gsync, same issues on a 2060 and i5-6500 with 16b/ram at 1080p even low....
This fix is for G-Sync / Freesync users. BUT try turning off minimum and maximum frame-rate.
I have a freesync premium monitor with an nvidia gpu. Do I have to get the amd drivers anyways even though that is not what I use?
You don’t have to install the drivers if you see the option “Set Up G-Sync” in Nvidia Control Panel. **Try to check if your Monitor’s Settings has Freesync is on.** If you don’t see “Set Up G-Sync” in Nvidia Control Panel, then simply by installing the amd drivers and restarting your pc, you will be able to see the option. ((Please check if your monitor is G-Sync compatible))
@@DeltaHQ I think I might have to buy a new monitor, its not g sync compatible. Only freesync
@@oddo7275 Try this: Go to Settings, turn off Minimal Frame-Rates and for Maximum Frame-Rates click “unlock”. Hope this works.
@@DeltaHQ My refresh rate is at the max already. I'm pretty sure it's because my monitor isn't gsync compatible.
youre a genius thank you
lg b9. i had stuttering issue even with your settings. i had to turn off min and max fps to make it work.in game
Glad that you found a way to fix your issue. I’ll keep it in my notes what you did. Enjoy Halo.
You brilliant bastard, you saved me!
i dont see an option to enable g sync
Do you have a monitor with GSync or FreeSync? If so… Did you checked if GSync/FreeSync is Turned-On in your monitor’s settings. Restart and go to Nvidia Control Panel. If you’re still having trouble then you should install your monitor’s drivers. If there aren’t drivers for your FreeSync monitor then you should install AMD Radeon drivers. Restart and check Nvidia control panel. Hope this helps.
@@DeltaHQ it absolutely did after further investigation I found out my monitor does not support g sync but was able to find a work around. The max fps was capped i simply removed the cap and was able to get better fps it was in my nvidia control panel under manage 3D options
@@TheRisible AMAZING!! I’m glad you found a solution!
@@TheRisible issue is not the fps but fps stability...
Thnx good job man
