Definitely getting this exhaust on my fxlrst! I don’t have too much knowledge on what cam to pick... How does the 483 feel on streets and freeway speeds +
@@marcocastillo3413 I find it really good on the street for acceleration. It seems to work best at a little higher rpm and I find myself cruising in 3rd gear a lot around town. This is nice for sound as well. Highway is really smooth. You can easily pick up a couple km or miles with a slight twist of the throttle. I’ve heard good things about the S&S 475 cam. I’m a big fan of APE / Cycle Rama. Make sure to grab one of their comp ramps if you go with them. The HPI exhaust looks and sounds good but is really pricey. There’s a lot of good stainless 2-1’s out there for sound and power. TBR and blockhead come to mind.
Man, that exhaust sounds great & that wedge air filter looks awesome. I don’t like that you have to worry about hard right turns though….otherwise I’d buy this set up & swap out my TAB exhaust.
Hi what bag did you fit for handle bar
It’s one I picked up at the Harley dealer. It’s called the OVERWATCH SMALL HANDLEBAR BAG.
Hey man nice bike. Quick q, how do you those SE Ohlins vs the Ohlins HD 560. I cant decide between the two. I do more two up riding.
Sorry bro! I don’t know anything about the 560 or have any experience with them. I’m really liking the SE ones though.
@@Dabocado Thank you that helps. I think ill give the SE ones a go, gotta be better than the stiff A$$ stock ones.
@@AK-le1wm if you’re worried about too stiff I would be cautious with the ohlins. I find them a lot firmer than the stock. The stock was spongy and the ohlins a lot firmer.
@@Dabocado noted thank you. So even with the adjustments it still ends up a stiffer ride? I thought stock had no give. Haha
@@AK-le1wm they’re highly adjustable so you can probably get them to where you want. I have mine set up for my riding style.
Nice ride . Got the same scoot. Where did you get the license plate mount ?
That’s just how she came. May be a Canadian thing.
Very similar to my 24, is that the Screamin Eagle/Ohlins suspension?
Yeah buddy
@@Dabocado how are you finding the suspension, getting it put on mine.
@@user-vw4rv7em1k I really like it. I think it’s a must have. The bike feels a lot more stable and I have a lot more confidence hitting bumps or taking corners at speed. It’s a lot stiffer than stock and the bike feels far more planted.
Do you need a professional dyno tune ir us thundermax enough?
I was told thundermax can figure itself out over a bit of time. Dyno tuning is better though and more accurate I believe. It’s kind of out of my realm of expertise.
I’ll never understand how people are able to upgrade these things so quickly
They either have a really good job or have a lot of debt
I done my 2023 lowrider st at 900 miles. It's called pay with AFFIRM. you get your parts and pay a small payment over 12 months so u don't go broke at once... plus with new bikes the camplate and oil pump is PLENTY good enough to do a stg2 all u need is cam lifters tappet cuffs and pushrods.... all around a1k$ USD$
@@Hoodsolo I’ve got a 107 so I need the oil pump and cam plate too along with a thunder max cause it’s worthless to buy the parts if they won’t work after install, it’s around $2500 for everything
@codysikels4156 best to get it tuned with powervision and dyno you get the most out of it... thundermax is good but it just doesn't beat a dyno tune. I've had 2 tmax and now my powervision and hands down PV for win tmax doesn't allow timing adjustments. It's primitive as hell
We don’t have shit jobs????
Dam that looks n sounds good 🤙🏽
Nice setup! I got the same cam on my 2022 lowrider S with stock intake and Bassani Road Rage 2 exhaust. Dyno tuned says 123 hp and 146 torque.. seems a little high wonder what number you have
Where did you purchase the HPI exhaust?!
Get lowered cycles happened to have one in stock so I grabbed it. You may be able to find one online somewhere opposed to having it built to order.
@@Dabocado hpi web site said could take 24 weeks lol I’ll be on the hunt now
Yeah they take a while but the quality is second to none. Looks and sounds amazing. I just got lucky and found one through a Google search.
@@Dabocado you got a great build. Doing same thing I saw super cruiser and really liked it and said I’m not waiting lol I’ll build it
@@johniron88 Good luck with that, Buell SuperCruiser is 186hp and like 460lbs.
Beautiful bike I’m picking up one this Saturday mines black with the same exhaust and black tips that air cleaner looks great what type is it thanks mate
It’s the screaming eagle wedge cleaner. Should be able to find it on the HD website.
$1000.00 here in Australia
@@user-em1sf8xx3q holy moly, that’s insane and definitely not worth that kind of money. I thought we were priced up in Canada. Check out Alpha Performance Engines. I ordered a couple of parts from them for my FXLRS. They’re solid. alphaperformanceengines.com.au/shop/?ixwpst%5Bproduct_cat%5D%5B%5D=139&title=1&excerpt=1&content=1&categories=1&attributes=1&tags=1&sku=1&ixwpsf%5Btaxonomy%5D%5Bproduct_cat%5D%5Bshow%5D=set&ixwpsf%5Btaxonomy%5D%5Bproduct_cat%5D%5Bmultiple%5D=0&ixwpsf%5Btaxonomy%5D%5Bproduct_cat%5D%5Bfilter%5D=1&ixwpsf%5Btaxonomy%5D%5Bpa_brands%5D%5Bshow%5D=set&ixwpsf%5Btaxonomy%5D%5Bpa_brands%5D%5Bmultiple%5D=0&ixwpsf%5Btaxonomy%5D%5Bpa_brands%5D%5Bfilter%5D=1
@@user-em1sf8xx3q there’s an Aussie dude who has a channel called master tech miller. He’s hands deep in APE products. If you ever get a hold of him, he’ll tell you exactly what you need for your build. Seems like a solid guy and super knowledgeable. Does a lot of big bore builds. Unless you got the $1000 for the Harley tax lol.
Awesome build. Do you have the dyno numbers?
Not yet unfortunately. Maybe by the end of the month.
I put that exhaust on my bike but with the black shields. It looks and sounds great, but I dragged it on the first tight right curve I took. It almost ripped the lower tip off the muffler. You have to remember to take it easy on the right leans.
I scratched mine too loading it into a trailer lol
Nice! I’m getting the thundermax tune done on my new 23 lrs. Also getting a stage 4 se kit and bassani rr and other bits and pieces done, my dealership won’t do aftermarket cams but it’s got the extended warranty. I’m really interested to see what it’s like, I know it won’t put out as much as an aftermarket cam but should still be alright!
Bro that’s going to be one slick ride. Make sure to toss it up on the tube when it’s done.
@@Dabocado sure is man, it’s gonna be my first HD coming from an XR650R can’t wait man!
@@user-vw4rv7em1kI think the SE 131 has a high lift 512 cam. Don’t take me my word for it though. I’ve been wrong before. If you’re looking to keep warranty, stay away from after market tuners and use the SE ones. They’re not great but better than stock. You’ll notice it.
Very nice!!!! I prefer Jekyl and Hyde style, but nice looking bike.
Dude !!! That sounds HEALTHY 🤘🤘
That exhaust looks great on that breakout i just picked up 2023 breakout 117 looking for some exhaust myself really like the look of the freedom exhaust does the exhaust have removable baffles and if so are the baffles in or out for your video clip? Thanks in advance for any info..
I think they have two baffle setups. Ones a quiet type and the one in the video is the regular. I think for looks and sound you can’t beat a 2-2 and freedom makes a great product.
Hi there what power did you make with this set up? Im also buying the same intake. Thanks alot
Couldn’t tell you man. Just slapped it on there a couple weeks ago when the weather was nice but haven’t been able to ride it or dyno it.
@@Dabocado no problem man it would be great if you can upload a video after it's tuned talking showing the results also a few fly bys. There aren't many videos of this exhaust and filter on UA-cam. Cheers!
@@ghans_onlinesorry bro, I sold this beast and bought an FXLRS. I built a full on race bike with that thing. She’s on my channel.
