50 gallons stock tank running plenum plus 5 gallons bucket wet style filtration using 2500 GPH pump. Stocking around 20 babies goldfishes for the winter.

Northern California is closer to the Bay Area.
@@shawn-Dman awesome, I'm in the Bay Area. Last year my plants were pretty sluggish with the cool weather. This year the pond plants are very happy!
Nice, use any ferts?
I use liquid fertilizer sometimes, but low dosage or I'll get string algae on java moss.

Can you show us to to do double barrel pond ?
I no longer keep them. The back barrel wood became rotten and had to be dismantled because it was leaking. I move the good one to the front yard and bought another to make it pair for the walkway to hold water plants. I have built the bigger pond to replace it.

Yes it is still alive. I took it from the cuttings. Try a few as some will not roots. Once it rooted in water, it doesn't like to be disturbed. I allow it to root into sponge filter and bottom substrates. I had to pull it out to clean the sponge and now to struggling to grow new root to replace the disturbed one. However, it is still alive regardless.
@@shawn-Dman thanks im going to try it I have 17 tanks so hopefully I can do it and it won't poison my fish.. Did u have any die from the plant?
No, I originally kept it in the 10 gallons tank with some swordtails and guppy. I have moved it into my 40 gallons breeders with goldfishes now. The plant have already doubled in size. If you're concerned about killing your fish, don't put the fresh cutting into the tank right away. Maybe put it into a jar or glass for several days before introducing to the tank.

@@HappyOne2017 I was lucky for 3 years, until they found their way into my yard. They've killed most of my goldfishes and one koi. Now, I got bigger pond for the remaining plus some additional. They came around a few more times, but I haven't seen them this winter.🤞

Yes, it gotten bigger now since I've moved it to the bigger tank. It's sitting in my DIY filter box.

How did you prepare the inside of the barrels?
No bettas need a minimum of 5 gallons, a heater and filter this is animal abuse and if you think other wise you shouldn’t have an animal period
