If any white people paid reparations for slavery it was the British. At great cost in blood and treasure, they put an end to the transatlantic slave trade and bought the freedom of hundreds of thousands of Africans. They also put an end to most of the much larger Muslim slave trade and slavery in other parts of The World. They only finished paying the debt for this in about 2016. To whom was this debt paid? The elite financial houses, of course. If anyone is to be held to account for reparations it would be them, not only for slavery but also for using their own subjects as cannon fodder for their endless wars. Ordinary white taxpayers, most of whose ancestors did not even profit from slavery, owe nothing. Modern critical race theory is just another tool of divide and rule used to prevent the masses from uniting against their ancient oppressors.
