He'll yeah, that's what I'm talking about. Who says the snare has to be the focal point of the drum set? Anything and everything can be played without having to follow tradition, just like a single string on a guitar can be played into creating a whole song without ever strumming a chord. As long as your making it sound good, then that's all that really matters. If you are to caught up on being to techniical, 9 times out of 10 you ain't really sounding good. Like when musicians act like they got a stick up there ass, whenever they play there instrument that stuck up attitude they have transcends through the music. You play music based on how you feel, you dont play music based on how much you know. This video of you playing without any snare is the best drumming I have heard in a long time.
