Whispers of Autumn | A Nature Documentary
I’m thrilled to share my latest passion project, Whispers of Autumn, a short film that captures the enchanting beauty of Finnish autumn. Filmed over four days in three breathtaking locations-Lake Littoinen, Vaarniemi, and Rauhalinna in Kaarina, southwestern Finland-this documentary explores the serene landscapes, textures, light, and colors that make the season so magical.
This project was a personal journey of creative freedom, without the usual constraints of budgets or tight schedules. It allowed me to express my love for nature on my own terms, focusing on the art of capturing the subtle, often overlooked details. The final look of the film was crafted through thoughtful color grading, not to strictly mirror reality, but to reflect how I personally perceived each location.
More than just a film, Whispers of Autumn is an invitation to slow down, reconnect with nature, and appreciate the world as we did in our youth. I hope this documentary inspires you to explore your local surroundings and see the beauty in the simple moments.

Shot with a #panasonic #gh6 and #sirui 24mm, 35mm, and 50mm anamorphic lenses, along with a 1.25x anamorphic adapter, for an ultra-wide, immersive view. Crafted with no artificial lighting-only the natural glow of autumn. Best enjoyed on a big screen for a truly cinematic experience.
