I used to work in a pub called the George Inn back in the early 90s, right where the Lidl is now. The pub was knocked down in the mid 90s I think. Great old boozer with some right characters. There was an Our Price record shop across the street where most of my wages went.

Came to Southall in 1966 after leaving school at 15 years old, in a shop called Gurneys radio ltd 91 and 109 the broadway great boss to work for .hard work at the time .

I used to live here. I grew up in the 1983-1989 and again 1991-2001 we loved it as a family. Now it’s a dump being close to slough but being close Windsor and London was the only good thing

I have lived in Maidenhead 35 years and once was thriving but now a dump..an eye sore..a depressing place. Don't bother coming here..avoid

There should be a law to limit stores on high street catering only to specific ethnicity. It’s ok to have a Indian restaurant here, a Chinese restaurant there but overall there should be good mix as well as unique shops to keep high street interesting for everyone.

I lived in Hayes from 1979 too 1998........I don't recognise anything any more.....it is so sad to see a area lose its heart.......
