How were you able to control the projector with Chromecast? CEC settings don't seem to work and can't find AURZEN as a manufacturer with Google remote control setup screen
I don't know. I can turn it on and off with the chromecast remote. You may have to enable it in the projectors settings for CEC, i think i saw it there. Yours may have it off. Also, double check the chromecasts settings and make sure CEC is on. I can even say "hey Google turn on the projector" and it works. Once it's on you can use either remote to control the chromecast OS. I can't control the volume of the projector so I just leave it full and use chromecasts volume. It's also in the settings to do that. Take a look and get back to me. We'll figure it out.
@@theproshopper Perfect thanks. I got it working with power and I took your advice for keeping volume on max/using Chromecast volume. Appreciate it!
@@michaelgonzales3593 That's great. I'm so glad I could help. Please like the video and consider subscribing if you haven't already . Thanks so much!
I have this apu can i use rtx 3060ti with it ?
Yes that's a good pairing.
@ will i have all of the gpu performance?
@@akiso_172 Yes the 3060ti is fine. Its only a bandwidth limit for very high end cards like the 4080 or 4090 and now the 5090.
Is it okay, to use MSI Pro A620M-E motherboard for AMD Ryzen 5 8500g?
It should work. You may need to update the BIOS. Double check on MSIs website to be sure.
This work woth an xbox?
Yes the HDMI can connect with anything. I used steam link to stream my PC to the chromecast and I was playing Spiderman, Cyberpunk and God of War on the projector. Super cool.
Great video, thanks so much for the comparison! Yes I am right now looking into buying a new laptop, do you buy any chance have any opinion on the yogas vs the HP omnibook flip?
@thejakobchannel I haven't used it, but in my experience, the Lenovo laptops are higher quality than HP.
You can spec the 7i with the same 2.8k OLED screen that's on the 9i. How do the speakers compare? Is the lack of a soundbar on the 7i a big difference in sound quality?
The speakers are certainly better on the 9i but you only notice it when compared side by side. The 7i on its own is very good. The OLED is a huge difference and worth the money in my opinion. Everything from work to content is much nicer to look at.
Can it play video of more than 4GB file from pen drive
I cant get it to work. It only reads fat32 file system so the max size is 4 gb. The best solution is to set up a Plex media server and use the Plex app to stream all your content. It's much nicer than fiddling with USB drives.
Samsung has it for $799 now.
Nice, that's a great deal. Hopefully I can work directly with them one day.
Nice concise review. Will be getting the 24 ultra very soon.
Thanks so much. I'm glad you found it helpful.
It does have a quick toggle button for mobile hotspot. At least on one ui 6.1.Are you on one ui beta 7?
Super weird. I'm on 6.1 and it's definitely not there. Maybe there's a regional difference. I even looked up on reddit and lots of others have the same issue. At least you have it so there's hope lol.
@theproshopper you can pick which buttons appear there. Pull the quick toggle bar down to make it expand and hit the pencil icon on top. Then hit edit.
@@otogiokami I've done that, its not there.
@theproshopper That's weird. I'm in Europe so that may be a regional difference, but why o. O. Edit: it just came to me that some us mobile operators don't like that their users use their data on other devices. Maybe that's the reason? Idk
Has the D1 got Bluetooth connection?
Yes, I use it with the speakers in the video.
Ive got the D1Pro and can honestly say the sound is fantastic that comes out of it,so much so that i don't connect my Soundbar to it anymore. Also when I do link up my soundbar to it and play a film through the Firestick connected through the HDMI I can never get the lypsync quite right. Also I'd like you to look into an issue to do with using the USB ports. I like doing videos and saving them to a usb memory stick. I have a Switzerland video I shot in 4k resolution on there that I had to break up into four parts because this projector does not play files larger than 4g. My video was 1hr 20 minutes long so obviously over the 4g limit. Can you find out if all projectors have this limit. Thanks.
The sound on the D1 Pro is really good. Your soundbar issue is weird, my D1 with the chromecast plays the audio on my Bluetooth speakers perfectly. Have you tried pairing or sound bar to the projector then directly to the Firestick to see if it fixes the delay? Also the 4gb limit could be a formatting issue. If your USB is formatted to fat32 then it will certainly have the limit. Have you tried different formats?
@theproshopper The usb IS FAT32 and the soundbar is Bluetoothed paired to the projector while playing through the Firestick
@@grahamjones7070 So try pairing directly to the firestick and try a different format on the USB like exFat
@@theproshopper You were right. I paired my Soundbar up with my Firestick and it works perfectly,no lypsync issues at all now. Thanks for that much appreciated 👍

thanks for the review bought the s24 ultra 512 gb a week ago 500 euro discount plus a galaxy watch 7 worth 319 euro so I think I got a good deal always had an iphone now samsung s24 ultra kind regards
Very nice. Enjoy it! It will be a very solid phone for a long time.
You’ve got an amazing deal
Samsung has it for $799 now.
@ so with the watch I only payed 700 and in Belgium you don’t find that foon so cheap
I already ordered one of these because I thought of this already before hand without watching the video
They certainly have very cool features.
Samsung needs 80watt wired and 50watt wireless charging then it would be perfect hopefully s26 will have it
@kyleerickson3382 Yes, that would be wild.
Which colour of this phone?
Titanium Gray.
Thanks for the detailed review!
You're welcome! I'm glad it helped.
Last 7i i had the hinge broke. That is why i went 9i instead
Damn sorry to hear that. I've had a pretty good time with the 4 Yogas I've had now. Only my yoga 900 from 2016 had the ssd die about 6 years later. Super easy and cheap fix. I upgraded from a 256 to a 512 gb nvme ssd. I even sold it after for $400. Great machines in my experience.
Great channel! Keep going.! I’m torn between the 9i and 7i , if I’m going with the highest specs on both of them intel core 7 155H 32 GB. RAM and OLED screen does it mean that both of the batteries will drain a lot? Cuz I’ve heard that the 7i has better battery life but I guess it’s on the lower res specs with no OLED. Also the hinges on 7i tend to break more from what I’ve read online. So I’m not sure which one is better .
Thanks so much. The 155u for sure has way better battery. I didn't care though, and still wanted the 9i. The oled screen and body are just too nice. The battery is good enough for my use case. (Mostly writing video sripts)
Have you try the happrun Google tv new version projector??how they manage vs this
I have not tried it yet but it looks decent for the price.
Hello. Do have both full aluminum cover/chassis ? Apart for the keyboard, is it plastic feeling?
Both are all aluminum. Very solid and sturdy feeling. Do not feel cheap at all. As soon as you touch them and pick them up, they are clearly premium devices. The 9i is a bit more sleek, but both are very nice.
@@theproshopper Thanks and have a perfect year.
@@fredvs3124 Thanks you as well!
Great video. Was thinking of getting the 7 where i will be doing data work. Not sure if there's a big difference for that kind of activity. If the main difference is in gaming then I'll probably go for the 7
That's probably a good idea. The 9i only had a slight edge in multicore. But the battery is nowhere near as good as the 7i. The big thing with the 9i is the oled screen. For data work, it's not worth the increased cost.
Just got the D1 and lovin it.
Great! Same here. It's super impressive.
What about the Intel core 7 ultra 155H bersion of the Yoga 7i version ? Thanks in advance
So are they both 2 in 1?
Yes, they are both 2 in 1 devices.
@@theproshopper Yes, I should have realised. This is a very helpful review, thanks.
Really interesting! The D1 looks very good! Can i suggest to compare it with the Agima X3? It has 1080p native, size of the HY300, no blurry edges... I would be glad coz it could be the final test for me to know what i will buy for my room. Thanks a lot!
Seems pretty good. My gut tells me the d1 is probably still better. But I'll check it out. Thanks for the suggestion!
@@theproshopper Thank you very much!
Should I upgrade from my xuanpad projector?
I dont know much about which model you have, but I believe that most of the budget models on Amazon will be quite similar. You could always buy and return if you want to try an upgrade. I'm very happy with my Aurzen and dont think I'll need a new one until this one breaks.
Appreciate this video great stuff man
Thanks! I hope the video gave you some good insight. I really like the d1. It's a great product.
The video is great, you need to keep promoting your channel. Is not hard.
Thanks so much. I'm trying to balance 2 channels right now which might be mistake. Just trying to figure things out right now in my personal life. I'm really loving it though and comments like this help a lot. Thanks!
Hey hii I bought 8500g custom pc build last week with gigabyte mb , 16+16gb dual ram Nvme 4.0 ssd without the gpu. Working smooth as of now. I would like to add a graphic card which is suitable for the cpu, which can use full potential of pcie, so can you suggest me a graphic card ???
Most Gpus will work fine, Nivida might be launching soon so a new 5060 or a current gen 4060 or 4070 might be a good option. AMD has some good cards too like the 7600xt or 7700xt. you may also find some solid deals on last gen RTX 3070 or 3080.
Good comparison thank you!!
I'm glad you found it helpful!
Sadly you can just use a tv
You certainly can if that's what you prefer.
@ You have a point that is really cool to have like a TV except for it’s your wall and it’s really just a projector
so nice... your ryzen so good. but my ryzen battery life just 4 - 5 hours
Yes thats not good. Battery life is really improving lately. I did a video on the Yoga 7i and it gets over 10 hours of real-world battery. Intel and AMD have improved a lot but still have work to do.
Do these overheat? Mostly good reviews, but a couple said they overheat
Under normal use they run cool and quiet. But as soon as you launch a game the fans spin up and pump out tons of heat. It's pretty toasty towards the back of the laptop where the functions keys are, the chip is right under there. But to be fair they are not really gaming laptops but I gamed for extended sessions while connected to a TV with a PS5 controller and my 9i and even old 7i both performed very well.
Thanks for making the minefield of choices clearer with everyday commonsense advice
Glad I could help!
Nice comparison. Thank you. What about New keyboards on New 2024 Lenovo yogas?
The Lenovo keyboards are really great. They do make the keyboard feel a little nicer on the higher 9i models, and the buttons are curved. You can't go wrong either way. I think Lenovo does some of the best keyboards in the business.
Hi,[pro shopper] I’ve noticed some areas where your UA-cam channel could improve, and I believe these changes would greatly benefit your growth. Your video quality is already impressive, but with a few adjustments, there’s room for even better results. These changes could also help you generate income from your channel. Let me know if you’d like to hear my suggestions. I’m happy to help! Best regards, [Mujahid]
Thank you for this review. this cpu was the aboslute cheapest i could find that is am5, cheap and not slow for day to day tasks. i've now built an all new budget pc with this cpu for my studies and it's working beautifully. Also the fact that i'm on the am5 platform which gives me an upgrade path if i ever need to upgrade to another gaming centric cpu gives me comfort.
I'm glad to hear the CPU is working well for your studies! The AM5 platform really does offer great flexibility for future upgrades.
When will they realise Core Ultra 2 Series on these Lenovo laptops? I'm waiting for it to be CoPilot + PC before I buy one.
I'm not sure. It's odd that they only put the series 2 chips in the Yoga Slim for now. If you wait for the series 2 in the Yoga 7 or 9 it will be one of the best machines on the market. But also Black Friday is around the corner and the Yoga 7 and 9 with the series 1 chips will probably be heavily discounted.
I have already chosen two items to buy. Thank you for sharing !
Thanks!
I appreciate you going through the trouble. Thank you! I wish your channel success.
I really appreciate that! Glad you found the video helpful.
good review. the battery sounds like is the down side..too bad...would you recommand this over the lenovo slim7x?
Yoga Slim is very nice. You can get the snapdragon chip in that one or the new intel series 2. It has way better battery life but the screen doesn't flip around all the way for tablet mode. Also the snapdragon chip doesn't support all games and apps. So I would say be sure the software you need is supported on snapdragon and you are ok with losing the 360° hinge. The new Intel series 2 chips have solved the battery issue however so I would personally choose the 9i with the new series 2 chips that should be available soon.
Dope chair
It certainly is!
warranty is a scam
It seems that way so far. They still have not responded. If this channel was bigger, they would jump to help fix the issue.

I've had awful service from Samsung as well.

Salam.
Fantastic video. Youre 100% correct. There no "technical difficulty". They want to wear you out and make you buy a new one.
It's certainly not a good customer experience. Like I said it's just one SD card but if I had a big media agency with tons of storage devices that failed we would have just bought new hardware by now, from a different manufacturer. The post purchase experience is what keeps customers loyal or forces them to move on.
Trying to decide between these -- 14". The 7i is 699 but it's a little heavy/large (compared to my yoga 6). The 9i , smaller and lighter, is on sale for 1100 USD. University usage so nothing crazy. Multiple tabs, light programming. No video editing, no gaming, so I don't care too much about graphics, sound. Thoughts? TYSM
@notimportant123 The 7i will have better battery if that's more important to you. The screen on the 9i is super nice and noticeably better over the 7i. You may benefit from the nicer keyboard on the 9i for programming. The 9i is certainly better and worth it like I said the battery life is less and there is no HDMI. If you don't mind those trade offs and have the budget the 9i is really good. Otherwise the 7i is a great choice too but as you mentioned it's a bit heavy. My girlfriend has the 7i and she says she wishes it was a bit lighter. I hope that helps!
From Experience the 8500g is a bit too low on Performance, if you can do, I would rather go with a 8600g or 8700g
Yes I think thats good choice. The 8500G is a great value but the 8600g and 8700g are worth worth it if the budget fits. This will be used as an office PC so the 8500g was a great fit.
@@theproshopper then it really is. I only got the 8500g as a gap chip, because my old PC (budget PC from 2015, Intel 660 as core) gave in and I dont have enough money put aside rn to build Something good, so I just got that one, because it was the cheapest AM5 APU. It does OK, but I think I shouldve got the 8700g, especially because of the PCle lane Problem
yo fellow full brushed aluminum PC case user i love these cases a lot mine is a Lian Li matx case it really helps absorb all the heat inside its like an extra heatsink
Nice. Brushed aluminum gang! I love the cold hard metal feel of it. I've built tons of PCs in this case.
