I'm deeply saddened by the loss of Gotoh. I don't understand why the author of Hunter x Hunter chose to kill off so many characters from the earlier part of the series in this arc.
Honestly Gotoh loses because he's outclassed by a far better fighting opponent. He focused on shooting down the incoming projectiles and couldn't see + forgot there's still a deadly fighter around him that could and would attack at any moment? That's just a basic mistake of awareness. If you lose track of the enemy fighter; you lost period. Doesn't matter what abilities Hisoka had. It could have been zero, and a normal ass knife. Hisoka could have started moving that way from the moment the fight started, and ended it the same way.
Gotohs problem was he was a one trick pony, i think his ability was the best he could do alot of other fighters in hunter think quicker and dont just spam their special ability even with the coins coming and hisoka coming from over top of him its way more characters able to tank those kind of attacks or simply move faster. this is very interesting

よくよく考えると手ぶらから弾丸以上の威力で放たれるコインって割と強い。9パラが並ハンには普通に効くしそれより強くて乱射されるって結構やばいなぁ
