During a renovation project, the need arose to reduce the height of the building’s perimeter wall. The contractor wanted to avoid using a hydraulic hammer, which would have been too noisy for the surrounding area, and sought a more cost-effective solution than diamond wall saw cutting.
The decision was made to rent the TEHMA SP400 concrete and rock splitter, which, with just a single spliting process, created a clean crack across the entire 5-meter width of the wall. This allowed the top section to be removed in one solid block.
