Being a Catholic all my life going to a Catholic grammar school high school University College I know that God is there and he doesn't interfere with our lives and you have to believe in him and have faith in him to help you and those people who do not believe in him regardless of what religion they belong to going to find out there is a God when they die then they will know that he exists because I don't care who you are rich or poor famous or obscure we are all going to die someday and then you know there is a God he was on Earth over 2000 years ago and rose from the dead and God bless Stanley and this whole beautiful family and 10 save him mr. Brian Clark

i go back here just to listen to that few minutes where he said the plane was just on his eye level and he couldn’t think of anything else but “Lord I can’t do this, You take over.” whenever i think about that line i just idk... idk what to feel. and whenever i think about how big the explosion was in south tower, i remember the desk where he dove in. The phone call from the woman in Chicago saved his life. Otherwise he wouldn’t have seen the plane and had time to duck. He was the only survivor on that floor.
This is like when Jesus told his disciples go and spread hi word and miracles.
This gentleman was featured in a National Geographic documentary about 9/11 that was shown on TV I think within a year of the attacks. In it he describes in detail what he experienced that morning. In my view it’s the best 9/11 documentary that’s ever been done. It lays out everything as to how the hijackers prepared themselves, including booking and boarding their flights. I wish more Americans would take the time to watch it.

Out of all the 911 stories that I hear Stanley's and Brian's just really sticks with me I just can't imagine looking up and seeing a plane coming towards me and I have to jump and Run for Cover and everyone on that floor died on impact but Stanley so that tells you something, and they were on the 83rd floor that was nothing but God that was with him and Brian that day God is real and you won't make it in this world without him I'm so glad that Stanley and Brian survived because they can tell their story to people and give people hope may God continue blessing Stanley and his family and Brian's as well, Brian and Stanley were each other's angels that day 😇
God is everything, this story and Brian’s were so touching and what I love the most is that God saved them and they are aware that if it wasn’t for God they wouldn’t have survived

I’ve watched both telling their stories. I can’t get enough. The same Jesus who performed miracles in the past has still been doing it until today.

His personality and Demeanor show me a few reasons why they call him "Stan the Man"
I struggle with this story. I want to honor Stan and send so much love his way. I am so thankful he survived and came home to his wife and daughters, and could someday walk them down the aisle. I just can’t reconcile this version of the story with all the people who didn’t make it out. You would have to believe that God loves him more, or Stan loves God more, or Stan did something right over the course of his life that others didn’t, or any number of other beliefs which are not loving. I desperately want to believe God can and will protect us, but the story of 9/11 is too tragic and complex to isolate the survival stories and hold them up as evidence of God’s power. All that aside, I am glad Stan survived. Twenty years later, and I still haven’t forgotten. Never will.
If you read the Bible and ask the Holy Spirit into your life, you will understand God's sovereignty, his wrath and his love. There is no partiality in Christ (Romans 2:11). There is a time for everyone to die though and you will meet Him whether that's tomorrow or 60 years from now. You make that decision today while you're alive if you're going to follow and obey Him. Most don't want to because they want to live for themselves (not saying all the people who die tragically...that is just life). But the fallen evil in this world is demonic and Satan has an agenda. God uses that evil for good in many ways. Jesus Christ wins in the end.

Hi @andrew5184 you don’t have to believe God loves Stanley more or any of the things you mentioned. As humans, we expect events to have reason, answers, you know, make sense. That’s not always the case. It’s ok to question, ask why, be angry, etc. This is Stanley’s story & his recollection of events. JS, The Bible is full of stories of God’s favor & wrath. A book named “Why Bad Things Happen to Good People” helped me many years ago after a series of traumatic events. Check it out if u wish. Best!
@@missemiss1970 Stanley has a right to tell the story however he wants. But placing the particulars of this story aside, I find these narratives are not as helpful as I think some who believe similarly to Stanley intend them to be. What I read you saying is, we humans are meaning making creatures. We have to find reason, even though it cannot always be found. I certainly understand that. What if someone is in the audience who lost a loved one that day? How do we hold space for the victims of that day and the complexities of a tragedy like 9/11? These questions are more rhetorical than anything.
Notice what he said. He said he doesn't know why the people called on their god and he didn't answer. He said that he called on "His" God and He answered and delivered him. Not everyone pray to the same God. His God heard him and saw fit to spare his life! Not taking away from all the beautiful lives that were taken. But there were others who were spared not just him as well.
I can listen to him and Brian talk all day
without detracting from the emotion and power of his expression of experience, how does one explain why god answered his prayers and not the thousands of those who died horrific deaths that day?

For salvation, people just need to follow the way they did it in Acts? They were baptized in the water and of the spirit. Here's why! The gospel is the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. If we are to follow him, we must do the same thing. Death= repentance, Burial = baptism, and resurrection = being filled and rising again from the dead. That's what Acts 2:38 is. We must obey the gospel, 2 Thessalonians 1:8-9, in flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that OBEY NOT THE GOSPEL of our Lord Jesus Christ... Matthew 7:21-23, Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that DOETH THE WILL OF MY FATHER which is in Heaven. St John 3:3-5, EXCEPT a man, be born of WATER AND OF THE SPIRIT, he cannot enter into the kingdom of GOD. We can't come up with our own gospel. Galatians 1:8-9, But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. Don't be cursed. One way for all people. Jews, Gentiles, and Samaritans. Our salvation has to match-up with the scriptures and no scriptures on the subject can be taken away. The gospels show what Christ has done on the cross for us. The book of Acts shows us the beginning of Christ's Church and how to enter the Church, obeying Acts 2:38. The letters were written to the Church to show us how to behave now that we are born again into the Church. It's better to walk alone than to walk with a crowd going in the wrong direction. Are we supposed to follow the teachings of the apostles? Acts 2:42, And they continued steadfastly in the apostle's doctrines. Ephesians 2:20, We are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief cornerstone. Don't get Titus 3:5 mixed up with James 2:14-26, about WORKS. One is a WORK of your OWN RIGHTEOUSNESS OR GOOD DEEDS and the other is a WORK OF FAITH. Titus 1:16, They profess that they know God; but in WORKS they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate. OK. so how many RESURRECTIONS(global ones. not like when CHRIST rose again. that was a local one. city wide)are there? ACCORDING to the old TESTAMENT? only 2. BUT...PRETRIB RAPTURE doctrine says 3. SO WE NEED A TIE BREAKER!!...GUESS WHAT ? ITS FOUND THERE in THE Book of revelations, CHAPTER 20 and v6 ( and rest of the chapter) we find the confirmation.. only 2 GLOBAL RESURRECTIONS. 2)ACCORDING TO PRETRIB DOCTRINE. when we hear the last TRUMPET. poof!!! we vanish. @Phillip Evans Thanks brother. Praise God for the Truth and His Word. I know and am aware of the references for the restainer, I understand your point but I have a different view. I believe, The restrained is Michael, The Prince of ISREAL. As U may remember, There was war in heaven, micheal fought, the dragon fought and lost and was thrown down to earth, full of fury, ..this all happens at the Midpoint. So it's not possible for micheal or anyone, other than God, to be in two places at once. That's just me and where my research has led me. It's not a salvation issue, so I dont go too hard there. But As for this PRETRIB DECEPTION, it's very clear. This will be one of the reasons for the Falling away, and that's why I strive to WAKE up as many as I can .Let's keep proclaiming the whole truth. And so, rescue as many as we can from FALSEHOOD, and the possibility of giving up their faith, when they realize the TRIBULATION has started, and they are not ready, cuz they believed a lie. @Phillip Evans Ah, The question is a bit unclear. I will try to answer what I think you are saying. I think the WORD restrainer, is a where the problem lies . Let's try the word, SHEILD or protector, or defender, these might be able to clear up what's actually going on. You see there is no doubt that the dragon has set specific Angel's over territories. prince of Persia, prince of Grecia, are common examples, BUT MICHEAL IS THE PRINCE OF ISRAEL and staying with that reference, if you remember, it took daniel 21 days to get his answer, that was for one prayer. and the messenger angel, still had to fight again, to return home. we dont know how many days that took. I bring this to your attention, so that we can clearly see. The war in heaven will be intense. and a lot longer than 21 days, and Micheal will be needed. This means the The prince of ISREAL, is removed. The SHEILD, protector, defender, restrainer...is removed. So it will be easier, for opposing forces to make their move. And take power in Israel. By the time the war has reached a turning point , the dragon is thrown down, to earth. at the mid point of the TRIBULATION. So it seems, like they were fighting for the first 3.5 years , until the dragon loses, round one. I hope this clarifies, my position. if you want to demonstrate yours, I will be glad to listen.
