Myrka is a Mexican-American singer, born and raised in South Texas. Her musical background includes a bachelors degree in vocal performance from the University of Texas Rio grande Valley, 6 years of vocal coaching, songwriting since the age of 8, and performing since the age of 12. Musical genres she enjoys to sing, include but are not limited to are pop, soul, mariachi, and classical. Her love for music stems from her late father Emilio Chapa, and Myrka continues to explore her musical abilities.
