It's so dark because the dry porous ends will soak up color and look darker..the way to avoid this is a protein filler you can buy at Sally's beauty.

That silver looks great. The silver might not stain your hands and skin, but let me assure you that the purple does definitely stain. I did not use gloves and ended up with purple hands that took quite a bit of scrubbing and still had a slight lavender look the next day.

It makes my hair very soft and I use it more than one time to get a good color I want! It’s not damaging at all and I’ve used it more than once a day before and multiple times a week!
