Towing from the top crazy dangerous.. Here they flipped boats that way.. Pull wire back to a block in boat.. We had A frame rigging and we would haul wire back to a block chained to the winch and towed low..

My house was right across from the playground on the seesaw side. There was a little open shack there outside the playground where we waited the bus that would come in base and take us to north truro central school. We all played in those woods surrounding the base and we picked black berries and blueberries down the long curvy road to an abandoned building site. The toad may not be as long as I remember we moved from there in 74 2 days after Christmas. My mom worked at the NCO club. Some of the names I remember were Jennifer Grover Jenny massengil The Guinea Starla Ray Tracy armitage Denise Kochka she got her toes cut off in a bicycle accident John puhala My brothers best friends name was Pete

Not just the Boss telling everyone that NJ is paved over :( I once had a WV farmer come to my Manchester farm and he took 70 thru thos same Cranberry bogs. His first comment out of the car was:Where is everybody? His idea of NJ was the NJTP going thru the oil refineries near Newark airport. I was wondering if the TNJT could be done with a trailer but maybe i should use my boat trailer :)

The base is gone but millions are still spent every year on ground water treatment. The fuels and chemicals used at the base got into the ground water so the water must continually pumped and treated by pumps located for miles around the base
