    This Country has everything to do with the holy everyone that contributed to the growth of America, and Leone's movie tells us about them, italians, jewish, and nobody here is an idiot, just because they liked this song. Have a nice day.

    This film has nothing to do with Italians you idiot. It's about JEWISH-Americans.

    As I can remember, in the movie he said he took cocaine. So probably to show the difference drugs did to the protagonist that's why they chose him.

    Great job. The music fits great, to me, to one of my best top five films of ever. If it's got Malcolm McDowell in, it's the best film ever.

    True. Come to think of it, the final scene where the tooth fairy comes back to kill wills family would look a little silly on paper, but that still works.

    Yeah but that sounds a bit too "HOORAH" don't it. Bit unrealistic.

    Romane Bohringer and Monica Belluci are the 2 most beautiful actresses I've ever seen ... bar none! =) I just fell in love with Romane all over again!

    I am neither Italian or Jewish. I just love this movie for every aspect of any possible human relationship a move can teach you. I watch this movie once a year - just by myself. Me and a bottle of vodka. And I have it all. With tears and joy. Today first time I watched it with my kiddo - he was born 10 years after this movie was shot. He loved it. And that mean a lot to me.

    As much as I respect Malcom Mc.D, I reckon Paul would've been fine playing the older Gangster 55 too, because with the two actors it makes them seem like 2 different people. Other than that, feckin amazing movie, could watch it a hundred times and never get bored.

    I haven't seen an american version, but I loved french one. Honestly, I do not understand this movie fully. All the allusions to a Shakespreare "Midsummer night's dream" makes movie more tangled. I simply doubt - were Max in love with Lisa when he looked for her, or simply wanted to know the truth why she had left him. I really thought he was, but then I saw movie more times, I started to wonder.

      Can you please explain the ending to me? Why Max decided to run back to Alice? The book that she gave him, what was written in it?

    • @Amyi13
      @Amyi13 2 роки тому

      @@melissaf00 Max realized that Alice was deeply in love with him even before Lisa that is why he went with her also he started feeling something for Alice he liked her maybe because she seemed Lisa at the beggining and well at the end he finally felt something for her

    @gianluchissimo80 I'm Italian as well, I love this movie and my Country... I saw tons of comments made by Italians so "egocentric", arrogant... Italians have done a lot of things, ok... but they weren't the only ones that "made the history of America"... please stop this shit! Moreover, Leone, Morricone, De Niro & Co. had their success because U.S. Studios gave them the possibility to express their qualities. Not sure it would have been the same in Italy. Take care.

    @lebarosky also it shows that he was a barbarian and even when he had all the money he could never be the Gentleman she was looking for in him. in essence he was a savage and this scene is truly disturbing.

    The rape scene in this movie sets up the crucial plot elements that hold it together. Also it shows how flawed Noodles was; this is not about some hero: the movie is about criminals.

    Yo no soy americano, asi q no insultes. Solo dije que no tiene sentido que el tipo arriesga su relacion con su esposa y su trabajo y x ende su vida entera x el amor q siente x Monica Bellucci y que ha sobrevivido al pasar d elos años y de pronto, de un momento a otro abandona a la mujer q ama por otra tipa con la q se acosto una vez, y que para colmo lo engaño a el, a su amigo y a Monica Bellucci. Eso no tiene sentido, podra tener un final mas impactante que el gringo pero no tiene sentido.

    to topshotter the song was fine because if you've seen the movie younge gangster was inlove with freddy mayes so this song was not only perfectly timed harmonicaly with the scenes but the words fit with what was going on it gives a graet insight to what the movies about besides that the graphics used were briliant that and the beat was also timed well so lets recap beat fits action on screen like fredie mayes un buttoning his suit words fits mood pretty awsome if i say so myself
