Installing A Window In A Barn
Переглядів 52 тис.7 років тому
Installing a window in an existing metal barn with wood framed interior wall already in place.
Very good presentation! Only thing I would add is test the pump before you put it all back togeter. But I bet you did that. Thanks.
Thank you!
Excellent
Thank you!
Did u used an adapter ? My hose charger is not clamping at all
This is the absolute BEST video I have found on adding a window to a metal building. And the fact that it has almost a foot of a shelf or casing inside is exactly what I want to do with the window I want to add. It will be my kitchen window looking out into the yard and I wanted to be able to place a few small herbs in pots in that window so they will get some sun. This is perfect! I subscribed to your channel and hope to see more of these types of things. Thank you for your detailed video. Since I haven't started the framing on the walls yet, this is the perfect video to show me what to do when I start the framing. Have a good day Sir.
I have been looking for this for so long, thank you for creating this video :D
I have a 2012, how is the car doing now? I thought when Freon low there has to be a leak.
Thank you for your detailed explanations.
Thank you Keith!
Thank you for this!! Exactly what I’ve been looking for.
Good job Keith. I plan to put a wyndah in my shop. 😊 thanks for the great ideas. I’m from the south too and I get picked on all the time by the less sophisticated! 🤣
Good video, thanks for insights 👍
This video was amazing. It tops all of the other install videos hands down.
Very nice Keith
thanks Keith
Excellent details, Thanks a lot.
You screwed up @ 1:26, you said window instead of windah. 😁 Just messin' with you, I think this video is exactly what I need, thank you very much for taking the time to record and post it.
Great video. I'm curious about how you insulated your barn. We are about to do the same to our metal garage. I've been reading that metal buildings "sweat" and am nervous about mold and mildew growth in the walls.
Keith....... EXACTLY what I was planning to install in my shop. Thanks for the detailed instructions.
Pro Tip: Listen to this video at 1.25X speed. You're welcome.
I went with 1.5x speed, it really helped! Great video by the way, thanks!
You missed the most important part of water proofing this window.I’m so glad I don’t live anywhere near with this accent it almost put me to sleep.
thx for showing the winda box approach, very detailed.
what's a winda?
Thanks so much for this Keith! Very well done! Helped me install a window in my pole barn. Hats off to you my friend!
This approach is exactly what I need to do in my barn. Thanks for taking the time to post. A question: I note that the center of your window aligns with one of the exterior metal ribs. Did you plan for this, and does it matter?
Excellent information here, thank you for sharing your skills.
A windah?
It's Wynduh
That’s hard to even listen too.
great video but what is a "winda"?
kreteman777 also would like to know what a tuba four is. Asking for a friend
Appreciate your video which helps us DIY folks a lot.
Excellent tutorial!!!!!
Keith, how thick is the material that the box is made of? Is it 3/4 inch plywood?
Very very helpful. Thank you for taking the time to video your installation. Beautiful job. Question: the water tightness is acheived by the silicon between the window flange and the exterior metal? The top drip edge helps re water as well. The J trim is basically for looks. You mentioned an exterior pvc trim kit. Did that come with the window? The window is a Lowes product I think. Thanks again from North Carolina.
Thank you Keith. I'll let you know how it comes out.
Thanks!
