Story of me sharing videos throughout my travels after growing up in the intercity. Growing up in East Oakland I was bombarded with neighborhood guys with enticing pitches on joining their gang. it wasn't so much called a gang in Oakland, but neighborhood affiliations that ran the drugs. Initially it was mainly your soft drugs, but eventually turned into the harder cocaine, & Crack that took over when I was about 17. Fortunately for me I dodged much of the turf wars & drug affiliations after moving over to San Francisco & then Berkeley. However, I still was not inoculated from what was going on in the streets. Without going into what my encounters were, I did survive those days & landed on my feet going on to graduate from college & having a successful career that now affords me the opportunity to travel the world.
