" Remote from universal nature, and living by complicated artifice, man in civilization surveys the creature through the glass of his knowledge and sees thereby a feather magnified and the whole image in distortion.
... For the animal shall not be measured by man. In a world older and more complete than ours they move finished and complete, gifted with extensions of the senses we have lost or never attained, living by voices we shall never hear.
They are not brethren, they are not underlings; they are other nations, caught with ourselves in the net of life and time, fellow prisoners of the splendour and travail of the earth."
--Henry Beston (The Outermost House)
In the US, Eagles are protected by the Migratory Bird Treaty Act of 1918 and the Bald and Golden Eagle Protection Act.
On June 28, 2007, the Interior Department took the American Bald Eagle off the Federal List of Endangered and Threatened Wildlife and Plants.

I was thinking the guy was going to let him fall out of the nest. He kept putting him yo close to the edge. Scary

What happened?
Looks like a dirty muppet
Gracias por compartir saludos desde Madrid
I remember this like it was yesterday. The suspense was almost more than we could all bear. I remember hearing the boom truck arrive and voices on the ground. After a bit, that red & silver cable snaked around the trunk of the tree and then there was our angel, Jim. He was so tender and careful with Harmon. (I said that guy probably got a million marriage proposals after this 😁) We all held our breath for two days awaiting his return to the nest. Many fish and hissy fits later, Harmon thrived and fledged as nature intended. ❤️❤️❤️
I'm looking goodThe mother doesn't take care of the baby.
😡😡😡💔💔يلي بتصور ليش ما تنقذه وتعالجه بدل التصوير
Because we are here to watch and learn about them.. Not to intervene in their lives. Not every hatchling survives.. that's just the fact of it.
Update plz after that vedio
Waw bayi burungnya masih lemah
God bless you🌹
Good job thank for mede that gadbleessyou thankyou they're the best
This happens more often than you think. Birds will collect discarded string and human hair when building their nest and the chicks or even one of the parents will get one or both of their claws wrapped and stuck in it.
What was wrong with baby 👶
You do beautiful job!! Thank you!! God bless you and your's family!!❤
It’s a little known fact that male mallard ducks brutally gang-rape female ducks during mating. This male mallard must’ve been caught during the mating season. If a full grown male mallard duck like the one shown here encountered a baby eaglet, he would have no problem killing it. Here, however, he made a good meal for the baby eagle.
En serio ? Me pregunto tan resistente es El nido ? Que se sientan en el y lo aguanta
Where did parent eagle go?
Parabéns 🙏❤
Ooh God. Such a Good job. Allah Bless You, We love You Sir From Kuwait.
I thought birds only mated in the spring.

Can you put a catch net around the tree not far from the nest to save any falling chicks?
Did the parents leave him there
