Possible. It depends what you really want from the device and how you personally use them. Review all the functions and options and if you dont need the other inputs or outputs.. features... Id say Yes.

@@psyphonyxaudio yeah, besides of additional capabilities, what I get from your review is that if you bypass the internal DAC via the optical out, you get the same results. That's good to know, it will save some money if one already has a DAC!

@arakchiev ... In my use.. because I wasnt able to resolve much tonal or quality differences. Thats not saying their arent any.. or others wont.. Only what I heard personally.

@jjguillen65 ... I am too. Best deal for a budget system to work at casual levels. Far better than most.. and co-designed by the Perlisten engineer... Cant go wrong

Usually they're not really actively selling some of the big stuff but sometimes in headphone rooms and things you can buy things. But you'll always be able to just get the dealers card and talk to the dealer and said something up later.

@@psyphonyxaudio Yes,I just found the “room” didn’t show it as well as it could be …the videos from NY (in a largish hotel room ) gave a better performance. That being said..the Bors’ located across from the Focals we had the same problem.

@@carminedesanto6746 - The ' room ' was disappointing .. I can see that being a fair judgement. I didn't really find it was too lacking ..but I think .. to be honest... I am not nearly as critical about things ... I move around until I find the right spot.. I don't just accept what I hear when I sit down.

they weren't demoing these when i was there on Saturday... they are expensive as well and only goes down to 40hz...

... Only 40hz for a bookshelf? How many others reach 40hz.. with purifi level low distortion... ?

@@MasterofPlay7 - Physics is a better reference than is budget or cost. There are few bookshelves that I heard of or seen .. with published specs online that state a 40hz low reach. Direct me & others to any that you know of as proof for your statement. Otherwise, I'd simply say .. expectations are the recipe for disappointment.

@bobslave7063 ... I will have to do a new Super Shoot-out ... I have 3 new pairs of speakers added. I can use a db meter app on my phone.. and now use my dji camera to demo. Thats HOURS.. if not days of work.. editing.. and its not like this is a paid gig. I might get around to it.

@gyulahighend is correct... The sound is very unbalanced - no low end and very weak mid bass... I bet it is caused by your recording gear shortcomings, but it is what it is...

@adzajcom ... Recorded using the dji Osmo Pocket 3 device. The recording of the room will always sound funky compared to real world liatening. Why even judge it so critically? ... The camera mics.. position.. youtube compression.. your system .speakers.. and room. jeez... I wonder why it sounds odd. 🤷‍♂️
