Phi Phi Islands - Thailand
While travelling Thailand, we had to stop in to explore the Phi Phi Islands. It's no wonder these islands are so popular with their crystal-clear turquoise waters, towering limestone cliffs, and vibrant coral reefs teeming with marine life. We stayed on Phi Phi Don, the larger of the islands, which offers a blend of chill beachfront vibes, peaceful retreats, and amazing food.
We scored a private boat ride to hop around nearby islands and even got up close with some black tip reef sharks while snorkeling.
If you do make it to Phi Phi Don, don't forget to hit up the Phi Phi Viewpoint hike to see some stunning sunsets from the top of the island!
We hope we can return one day in the future!
Enjoy!

Lying Dragon Mountain - Ninh Binh, Vietnam
Переглядів 4,1 тис.Рік тому
While travelling Vietnam, we stopped for a few days in the area of Ninh Binh. Hidden in these valleys and karst mountains is the Lying Dragon mountain. The mountain's name comes from the massive rock formations that stretch for miles along its spine, resembling a great dragon lying across the land. To support this name, an actual dragon statue was built upon the spine of the mountain. Whether y...

Vang Vieng & Kuang Si Falls - Laos
Переглядів 2752 роки тому
While living and travelling in Asia, we had only heard amazing things about Laos and knew we needed to see it for ourselves. It did not disappoint. Every person we met was so kind and welcoming and the country itself still felt very untouched from tourism; with a magical vibe. There are three major areas in Laos. We landed in the northern one, Luang Prabang, where we ventured out to the Kuang S...
Dryft Camp Glamping - Darocotan Island, Philippines

Staying at Dryft Camp was one of the most amazing places we've experienced. It's located on the small island of Darocotan just a short boat ride from Palawan. Their philosophy is sustainable tourism that gives more than it takes from the land and the people who call it home. We stayed in beautiful glamping tents and had meals in this gorgeous giant tree house all made from the islands bamboo. T...

It’s safe to say we fell in love with the island of Palawan in the Philippines! With jagged cliffs surrounding sparkling turquoise waters and pristine white beaches, it was something out of a high end travel movie. The most popular place to base yourself for exploring this stunning part of the Philippines is the town of El Nido. El Nido is located in the northern tip of Palawan Island. It is se...
Stunning Coleman Pop Up Camper Remodel
Переглядів 249 тис.4 роки тому
This year Alison's parents handed down their Coleman Pop Up Camper to us. Alison had many great memories travelling across Canada in this camper with her family and although we loved it just the way it was, we thought we'd bring it into the 2020s with some renovations. Being stuck in Canada during the pandemic freed up our schedule quite a bit, so we decided to take on this project through the ...
Mount Kinabalu Summit - Borneo, Malaysia
Переглядів 4444 роки тому
When unexpected extended holidays had us searching for new places to travel to, we came across Sabah on the island of Borneo in Malaysia. We did a quick google of things to do and climbing Mount Kinabalu, (the tallest mountain in all of Southeast Asia) was one of the top things to do! We were very excited and did some research on how to summit it. We found out Kinabalu Park only gives out 120 p...

Located just off the southern tip of Malaysia, this vibrant city/country boasts a beauti...

Mandalay and Hsinbyume Pagoda - Myanmar
Переглядів 1 тис.4 роки тому
While travelling through Southeast Asia we had the opportunity to spend some time in the magical country of Myanmar. It truly is an untouched gem, rich with history and full of vibrant and joyful people. We stayed a couple nights in the city of Mandalay, home to many points of interest for us. The first stop was Hsinbyume Pagoda or as others call “The White Temple” about 1 hour from the city. S...

We were lucky enough to score a spot on the Maya Bay Sleep Aboard tr...
Longsheng Rice Terraces (Longji) - China
Переглядів 8675 років тому
While travelling in Guilin, China, we made a short trip north to visit the Longsheng Rice Terraces (Dragon's Back Bone). These rice terraces are also known to some people as the Longji Rice Terraces. These are arguably some of the nicest rice terraces in all of China. Most of the fields were constructed over 650 years ago. They are built along the slope winding from the riverside up to the moun...
Guilin & Xing Ping China

Guilin is easily one of the most beautiful areas of China. The Li River that runs through the region is lined with stunning Karst Mountains as far as the eye can see. These mountains are what you will find on the Chinese 20rmb bank note. During our Chinese Golden Week holiday we traveled down South to experience this magical land we had heard about and it did not disappoint. We took the typical...
Epic Proposal on Top of 7,600ft Volcano
Переглядів 27 тис.5 років тому
February 6th, 2019 was already planned to be a special day as we were climbing our first ever volcano (Mount Bromo, Indonesia). However, little did Alison know, the day would turn out to be incredibly special for another reason. While walking atop the crater rim, hearing the deep rumble down below and stunning 360 landscape views, I got down on one knee and asked the love of my life to marry me...

Calgary Road Trip 2017 - Banff, Lake Louise, Waterton Lakes
Was this an expensive project? My dad passed me down his and I’d love to start!
Not at all! I think it cost around $1200 - $1500 CAD. Hard to remember now.hah.
I visited The Lying Dragon Mountain this afternoon, it's remarkable. I am 58 years old, but I could reached the top
Congratulations! It's a beautiful place.
increible job guys, congratulations
Loved the pretty girl more than the place...
haha. Me too
nice!! :D
Great job! Absolutely love it but I can't help think about how dirty all of that white is going to be with "real" camping.
walgelijk
I love this! I just this minute purchased one , I cannot wait to get started!!! You guys did a fantastic job!
0:54 - She's a little confused, but she's got the spirit.
Just bought our first pop up. this looks incredible and i cant wait to redo ours
I’m fixing to remodel one and I can’t wait!! Thanks for the amazing inspiration ❤
Does nobody understand that when you're CAMPING you're in an OUTDOOR environment? All that white upholstery -- why??? I do like that you didn't do the typical all-white cabinets.
I thought they were all camping in trailers?...
Whites easier to clean 🤍
Lovely job, well done
Looks great please show her how to use the power drill the trigger is there for a reason lol
hah. It was broken. Could only use like a screwdriver
I with you would have put links for some of the products you got like the trim in for the countertops
Thank you, looks great
That looks amazing! How long did the remodel take you and how much did it cost?
Beautiful, and you created it together! Hope you two have many happy years, and many happy adventures!
Nice work. We have the Coleman Bayside and its in serious need for a reno. How did you get the exterior and interior of the canvas so clean. What product did you use as ours has yellowed
How much did y'all end up spending? just curious.. i have a 92 Coleman Fleetwood.. looks great btw
Great job! I hope we can revamp ours as well as you guys did!
Right off the bat as you showed the interior pre-renovation; I got hit with a wave of nostalgia. My family had a 98 Coleman Fleetwood Mesa with the exact same interior. I slept on that sofa bed to the right of the door for more than a few summers while my older sister always had the bunk above it all to herself. The main differences I can see is due to the fact that about three years after buying it; my parents had the heater and battery package installed. Oh and we didn't have a fridge. That spot was used for the cooler that came with the camper, and one of the best parts of the camper was that there was a hatch on the outside of the cooler nook so you could still get to it when the camper was closed up. I have nearly 14 summer vacations worth of memories of that camper going on trips throughout the 48 Continental states. I hope you both make just as many, and that they are of exciting places youve never been to before.
Omg I love it! Thank you for posting this video! We just acquired a popup from my sister so I'm looking forward to revamping it !
good job
Wow... but the reveal music.... oof

Did you paint the gaskit that goes around the table and countertops or did you buy white ones? If so where do you get that?
love the color you painted the cabinets. What color did you use?
❤❤❤awesome we will be there at the end of April this year looks amazing
Who selling full canvas replacements for a Coleman utah
China put it's footprint on everything...Natural Beauty is everything...they make a CIRCUS out of there Natural Gifts from God!
Love it! I'm going to take on a similar project for my Coleman Fleetwood Cedar Pop-Up! Thank you for the inspiration!
Hello! I have bought a pop-up myself and plan to paint the cabinets the same color that you guys did. I was reading through the comments and learned that you primed the cabinets with Rustoleum Chalked Charcoal Chalk Smooth Finish before finishing it with Benjamin Moore Grey 2121-10 paint+primer. My question is... why did you guys use chalk paint as a primer beforehand? Was it to get a certain look?
What was the trim around the cabinet called
Hey Jonathan The white trim is usually called "T-Molding". We found it here: colemanpopupparts.com/products/white-t-molding It was very affordable! Hope that helps!
@@OurMovingRoots thankyou yal are awesome
No Prob!@@jonathangillette3547
Beautiful!
Did you use it for camping following this?
Yup! We've been camping in it 4-5 times a year for the last few years. Everything is holding up fine!
Yellow crane tower.after corona
This was 3 years before Covid!
Yup! Still a pop-up.
Gorgeous!!
Alison - are you ok? It looks like he's holding you hostage. I just want to make sure you're there on your own free will and are happy.
Amazing! Do you know what the total cost was for Reno? Also, did you do a separate video on just the floor replacement?
Thanks! We estimated the total cost of reno was probably $1100-$1300 USD. Since we only needed a few boxes of flooring, we got them at a local Restore for $20 a box!. And sorry, no separate video on the flooring, but you lay it the same way you would a regular laminate floor in a house. Just UA-cam that :)
YES A NEW VIDEO
I’ll be trying to get some more finished quickly!
Congratz!!!! Very powerful hope eternity of happiness for the 2 of yall Hello from texas
hah. Thanks!
fantastic job!
Thanks!
SUCH A GREAT JOB!! 🤜🤛
Such a gorgeous transformation! Love your decor 😊
Thank you :)
Very nice
Love the finished result. My husband and I just got our very first pop up camper but it needs a new floor and the storage compartment replaced, hope we can do it.
Cute!!!!! Please share how you did the curtains 😅😅😅 I can't even get thr old ones off the c clips
Oh and what you cleaned the walls with??
Haha. We cut off the old clips, went and bought some curtains, hemmed them up to the correct height, then re-sewed the c clips back on to the new curtain! And the cleaner was just any "RV Tarp Cleaner" from a hardware store :) Good luck!!
