Hot flight to Greens Beach. Bristell Aircraft.
An inversion layer was causing the temperature to rise as I climbed, making it very hot in the cabin with the sun streaming in and the engine temperature rising causing heat through the firewall.

Seals..Navy Seals?
@@haydynbevis1907 Maybe 🤔
why did it take so long to fully retract the flaps? where is this filmed - good looking scenic country.
Was at MTOW and low pressure day and wanted a steeper climb to avoid the houses hence flaps in for longer. Tamar River Tasmania.
So cool to hear you talking through it at the start
Thanks 🙏
Good perspective👍👍
Cheers 👍
👌
Random video sugestion poped up. That was enjoyable, liked the cardboard cut out air intake on the Taxi back. Cheers!
Thanks for that. Cheers.
Not just any Comanche ... it's a 400. Hang on to your hats indeed.
You know your stuff. Cheers.
Nice.. Blue Tack or super Glue?
nice Timmy
Thanks Adrian :)
Yes.. MG only way to go..
Wow. And I thought flying with my dad in his Sesna 182 was scary... Very cool.
Get 6 inches off the ground, power idle and try not to land Simple
It's a completely different emotion when you take off from a grass airfield or from a concrete runway. I only had to fly for one year from the grass strip at the flight academy. unforgettable experience. Great footage and my support and respect
Thanks it's an amazing airstrip and aircraft.
Fuel pressure looks lowish fella!
Are you that MG Pilot?
👍
Very nice.
Hello! What app do you use for checklist?
Garmin Pilot.
Paper charts and VOR
Nice video Tim
What is the engine of your Bristell, 915 or 912?
912 ULS, more than enough power.
just perfect.
Thanks 👌
Definitely needs a wing-tip mounted GoPro and fuselage-mounted 360 cam Rookie! ;-)
Don't want to drill into the wing just yet ;)
That's a cool little plane!
Thanks, they are a delight to fly. This is the short wing version which handles turbulence much better and feels like a larger aircraft. Amazing engineering. Cheers.
👏👏👏👏👏
Hi; what version of the Bristell are you Flying? The One in the CS-23 category or the the LSA one? Best regards from Portugal.
Hi I fly the Bristell Classic NG5 LSA 600kg mtow. Cheers. Tim.
Love the clean cockpit layout, mine is very similar, I have a Bristell RG with 2 large G3X GDUs, the combo with the smaller GDU right next to the large one and the GMC307 on top is perfect. I personally would then fit the iPad pro 13" horizontally on the right side. Can't have enough toys, backups and USB-plugs in the airplane. I have an extra iPad mini besides my iPad pro and iPhone. We do not have paper anymore in the cockpit so having at least one or two backup devices is not a bad idea. Even with extra ventilation my large iPad still goes to cooling mode or dims the screen during hot weather.
We think alike 🙏
Great camera work. And it's look like your private airfield. If so, it's awesome
I like the avionics on your plane, is this Garmin what?
Garmin G3X
I really appreciate the scenic landscapes during your flight over this rural area. That combination of the aerial view and the manicured countryside making some stunning footage!. My respect and sub for your channel growing
Thank you very much!
G3X, phone and tablet in one plane? Why? OMG.
Phone has OzRunways which has its own traffic network. iPad has better visualisation for adsb traffic while logging flight and engine data.
Wow it sounds really like an rc toy, brave you are flying in this little ultralight. Why you dont try to get a real flight licence? I know it needs some brain, but it's worth the effort and you can fly a real plane thereafter.
Funny 😂
Not ultralight, but LSA.
Does Rostella have an ICAO of IATA code?
YRST
Looks nice up there!!
A lot smoother that when you and Boxhead came up :)
Very nice! 🛩 How many hours have you accumulated already on your brand new Bristell now Tim? 🕔
About 7 Nara. Hopefully some good weather coming up. Cheers
You have a beautiful aeroplane Tim 👍
14:52 Well that’s a first for me. If this was Friday 27 Sept then that’s me doing my CTAF into YDPO on my training nav. It was a beautiful day up there.
Well done. See you out there sometime. Cheers. Tim.
Bloody awesome 👏🏻 thanks for taking us up captain!!
Does the flight fee include a complimentary change of undies for nervous flyers 😆
@@DuctileDart2920 hey, he didn't burst into tears (for once hehe)
Fabulous video Folks.
I would get all the fiddling around done before I started out to the field
What do you mean?
How wide is the runway? Great video!
Aircrafts wingspan is 8m so maybe 7m?
good flying 👍🔥
@@techgod-h7b Thanks 🙏
That was fun. Thank you.
Nice landings, I’m a student right now, only 10 hrs in so far. We fly 6 pack Cessnas( a few of them have g5s) at my school but those Bristells look very fun to fly. Hope I get the chance to hop in one sometime.
NIce. Keep the Tobago content coming!
Nice TB-10. I have one here in the USA that looked quite similar.
Hi - great videos. I own XYF!
Great job
Thanks.
Beautiful views!
Wild.
Nice aircraft.
Im allergic to them
