is this only on certain models or years I should say? Just picked up a 2019 x4 M40I and I dont see how you got to the "CAR" settings, did you use that big turn knob? I went to setting in where the music is at and it says car but there is no ambient settings thanks

i think you should grab an older 197 coyote 11-14 model. they can be found for around the same as a newer ecoboost. the ecoboost is great but it will always pale compared to a coyote. plus if its your second car gas mileage wont be a big deal.

Hey, great hanging out and taking cars in Sea Isle City. It’s easy to say that EV’s are not for me. I first saw them at the Philadelphia Auto Show years ago and they had little appeal to me, very plain and minimalistic. My first car was a 1969 Camaro SS back in ‘83. What a fun car. It had a 350 engine and 4 speed manual transmission. It was old and worn, but I learned to wrench on cars. I feel it needed plugs and points every 6 months. Everything was manual. Windows, seats ,steering, nothing was electronic really. No AC either. And don’t forget the 8 track tape that I updated to cassette. I’ve been wrenching for 40 years and finally took a test drive in a Model 3. The prices were coming down and so many are on the road now, I thought why not. Well, after getting used to the one peddle driving and how there is little need for braking, I stepped on the accelerator. Wow, this really outperformed my Mercedes E55 with a V8 and supercharger. It was just a non stop pull. No noise or tires smoking, leaving a trail behind. But just pure controlled power. Now this really peaked my interest. I looked into maintenance, as the Mercedes was over $1000 per year. Ok, so the EV needs tire rotation every 6500 miles and the mobile service comes to your home. It needs wipers, washer fluid, and cabin filters at the same intervals as any car. The brake pads last almost forever. Hmm, let me think about this. A few test rides later over the year and I knew I had to make the switch. Trying the Full Self Driving was a game changer. I love driving, but this was incredibly good. I mean, the car really drives itself and will be parking within the month. Don’t believe everything you hear, take a test ride and experience it yourself, it’s free and without any obligations. I hope you get to enjoy the ride as much as I do.
