I find it interesting that the original song (Song of the Wielders) sounds great, the version from Chicory Piano Collections album sounds great, but the song version, I'd say, falls into the uncanny valley of beautiful harmony. It sounds like it's beautiful, but the chords are all over the place and oftentimes don't work together. This includes covers of the song version, such as this one. It's a great cover, but shares the same problems the song has: parallel fifths and other questionable progressions and modulations... Interestingly enough, these problems apply to *only one* of Lena Raine's works... what do you think about it? Does the chord progression also sound a little off to you?
