I still prefer the sound of KW181 or KS118 when providing sound for a band, however, they are bulky. If you are playing DJ music, KS212C are amazing.

@@JMBG05 i agree. The KLA12 is more suited with KW181 (or KS118). The KS212C has a higher thump. More suited for DJ I guess

With the CP12s & the Alto Ts12, How many ppl would you say you’d do with that rig?

@@31filmz68 on the safe side I’d do 150 and stretching it 200. I did a venue Feb 2024 for 170 and it was perfect. I was at 3 o’clock on the CP12’s and 12 o’clock on the Alto Sub. No one complained or asked to turn it up. That’s always the test rt there…

@@31filmz68 Oh the sub itself really hits for a 12”. It never clipped and fills in the low end perfectly. You can get the job done with one. 2 of them if u dare, will pound on your chest lol. So it depends really on what u want with sound. Just don’t let any of the levels see red! And your good to do.

Settings on the CP12 and CP8 are minimal compared to K12.2. I set the tops to external subwoofer. The KS212C are set to default. Easy peasy

When you set the tops to external subwoofer, which one out of the three selections are you using, I think the first was at 80, second was 100 and I forgot the third. I have the same exact setups but I feel like it’s not loud enough sometimes. Thanks!
