I love that you as a Dad encourage her passion for singing. I would place her about 6 or 7 years of age and her brain is like a sponge. It was a beautiful cover . I even got a little choked up so she did well. I can't wait to see how much better she will get as she hones her voice.

That was both sad and wonderful at the same time. I am a sad man. I might almost always be sad this side of heaven, for all I know. My older sister often told me to "Just push it away". My mother would say "Shake it off, Marty". It's not easy sometimes. Sometimes I must cry, buy I cry honestly. And I know that "sadness" isn't glued on me. What I'm trying to say is "Don't let sadness be the rule, or the winner." Don't let sadness win at all. Sadness is a dog, don't let it bite you. That's very sad that 2024 brought the loss of your Great Grandmother "Joy", but she would truly not want you to be sad on her account. It's my belief that you will see her again in heaven. She's going on 6 years old now, and lives in Kansas. She is my little sister's granddaughter. But my little sister is in God's hands for now. She lost her very brave fight with Ovarian cancer 5 years ago, and it still saddens me. Always has, always will until the day I'll see her again. She, "Bunny"(Ann) is still right here in my heart though, and in my thoughts often. I honestly do know one day I'll see her again too. I know it.
