If those are the actual, screen-worn eyebrow appliques, it almost seems sacreligious to not only use them on someone else (I mean no offense to the model), but to use them at all as, depending on the glue used, they can be damaged. Regardless, it was amazing to see the legendary film makeup icon Ve Neill recreate this look and share some of the behind-the-scenes details! Oh! I also wanted to say I'm not certain how I feel about seeing that even a femme fatale like Poison Ivy would be at the mercy of pantyhose runs/ladders (see 3:00)! On one hand, it's rather comforting to know that it's a curse all women (and drag queens like myself) suffer. At the same time, we've put men on the damned moon and yet we STILL can't find a way to fix this? Granted, I know it can't take precedence over the quest for world peace, but damn!

I have leaves from the actual screen worn costume that I pretty much searched to the ends of the earth for. I'm thinking about having them professionally reproduced and selling them as DIY kits on Etsy so more women can rock this look. It would be awesome to see the eye pieces made into a 3D printer file.

Ve, this is so great! I got addicted to Face Off a number of years ago and I think aspiring makeup artists would gain an amazing advantage in their craft by attending such a school. I wish you a resounding success!

I read a lot about Rick and your work in those old magazines "The Make Up Artist" by Michael Key. I just wonder what material Rick Baker used for those eyepieces? Is it silicon or latex or foam? Thanks for your reply from Salzburg :)

They look like some kind of molded latex since they have a little play to adhere to the face but are still firm.
