remember a guy knew had one of these back in the '70s Big motor all built up big tires tubs I think it was 400 horsepower made a couple of great runs down at the track till it finally came back riding on three wheels The frame and the suspension weren't substantial enough to handle the power of the the engine in the torque to the wheels I remember another one they had built up using an Opel GT and they had it down at the track and they revved it and revved it to take off for the race and the torque was so much it twisted and the car just rolled away sideways off the track The supports framing and the suspension need to be able to handle the rest of it I'm not sure how good of a tube frame or whatever they have under this thing

Sorry but the car looks awful with those wheels. This type of rim and low-profile tyre is ridiculous with these vintage cars.

My papa used to own the olive/brown color Vega. I was young when he would drive it everyday to Mississippi from Mobile to work in the shipyard. It was a dependable car...that's for sure! I miss you papa!!
