The round up has been great! Slow burn but so satisfying to click over the 1K, just from change 😍 I have decided to do Caro's Calendar & 52 weeks challenges straight out of my personal spending money, and the old faithful build a buffer with rollover at end of week. I think the weekly commitments are what I need to stick to. I was only doing the challenges when I had cash in my purse left over, but I really think I am better when it is allocated first, out of sight. I wish money wouldn't talk to me and say spend me - lol. I tried doing a transfer but that money just sat there looking like spare money too. 🤭

Well done completing the change challenge $1010 into your emergency fund is a wonderful step towards one your goal this year ❤

That was very good start for the year! I enjoy seeing your working out and thoughts, and what a bunch of challenges you have lined up. I have my budget set up on the Coplenty for my serious budgeting, but challenges I am still not feeling my vibe yet. I need to feel inspired to have a special goal for something soon 🤩 I am just sending money to the bank and it isn't giving me fun. 🤔 I feel like it is better when it is nailed down to something. Doesn't feel like extra loose money then. 😉

I would consider start savings for a baby now, its a big goal and you can always reallocate if it doesnt happen straight away but if you do have a baby this year i am sure the extra savings from starting early will be welcome ❤

Like $100 from tech, $100 from Tayto, $50 from fitness, and $50 from health. And I'm pretty sure you have that currently. You don't drain any fund but you can also wait for a good sale.

I have a fix for your sinking funds - Instead of putting your sinking funds as income you can pull it back out but putting it in your transactions and putting a minus symbol in front of the amount, so each fortnight I put money in my bills account which I put in my transactions so the money is allocated then when my phone bill comes in I pull $100 out of my bills account by putting it in my transactions with a minus symbol in front and then put my phone bill transaction in. I do mine like this because we get paid fortnightly and I have a bills account but also want to see what I'm spending on each individual bill - hope that makes sense, it sounds like a lot of work but its just as easy as putting it as income and then your end of year will be accurate
